In a statement made by the Bishop of Giza, the Coptic Orthodox Church in Warraq-Cairo-Egypt was visited by the Holy Virgin Mary from 1 AM till 4 AM. The object that appears in the spires was taken by Amateur video. This is a breaking news story and was first reported in Cairo on December 16th 2009. Before you conclude that this is a trick of light, the predominately Muslim Egyptian Government shut off the electric power to the Church to prove it was a hoax. The apparition continued to shine hours after the attempt to extinguish it. The simulacrum of the Virgin Mary in the light has not been declared a hoax. In fact, the Church has stated that something indeed happened that night. Many Government Officials are worried that the appearance of this Christian Icon may cause a rift between Muslims and Christians. Is this a real apparition or is it something holographically projected, or is it tied to the other anomalies seen in Norway, Romania, and Russia?

Years ago Rock Music producer David Smith and myself embarked on a working screenplay idea called KRAMPUSNACHT or NIGHT OF THE KRAMPUS. The story deals with a young German boy that escapes an attack from the forest creature KRAMPUS, a demonic and murderous entity that is a staple of European Christmas folklore. Set in the era of World War II the young German boy witnesses the slaughter of his family at the hands of the KRAMPUS. The Boy’s Father just happens to be a guard at Auschwitz, the concentration camp where millions of people were killed.
