OCTOPUS DEATH EATERS
MONOLOGUE WRITTEN BY CLYDE LEWIS
If you recall, months ago the book, 1984 by George Orwell, shot back to the top of best-seller list. Amazon couldn’t keep up with the renaissance and had to restock it. On Hulu, a television special called, The Handmaid’s Tale, has successfully rekindled interest in the 1985 dystopian novel by Margaret Atwood.
Hulu says it is a timely mirror to the Trump era. This is a bit over the top since we are nowhere near a misogynistic theocracy. However, the argument is that Trump is a misogynist, so I guess it is timely, but just barely.
As for Big Brother watching us, a la George Orwell’s “1984,” it has become quite clear that the surveillance state made its greatest strides under Obama, though previous administrations had done their part to implement it.
Obama’s most enduring legacy may be the establishment of the modern U.S. surveillance state. The media, however, dismisses any and all speculation that Obama may have used it to spy on his enemies including Donald Trump.
In his aftermath were the many devotees that wanted to keep the dream alive with the first female president, Hillary Clinton.
When failed, the bottom dropped out and all of the mitered anger erupted and the destabilization began. In political discussions now, you heart magic words like fascist, Hitler, 1984, and now, The Handmaids Tale.
But the word we all should be using is what all of these magical words have in common — it is the word, Dystopia.
For those of us who are wondering we can officially declare that Dystopia is here. Dystopia has arrived in the United States. Take the definition of Dystopia head on and you will see words like dehumanization, destabilization, totalitarian interference and obfuscation, a society characterized by human misery or societies in an advanced state of collapse and disintegration.
I am sure some people will blame all of this on Donald Trump, but he has only been president for a little more than one hundred days and already the media is talking about his impeachment.
We are living in some bizarre timeline, in some altered world detached from the old reality and realizing that this new reality is one plagued with dangerous and painful attitudes.
We are now witnessing mainstream narrative of political conspirators that are obsessing over what they see as collusion with adversarial archenemy. The bulletins abound where we hear of a delusional leader overturning over-turning the institutions of democracy.
We are also seeing a “Deep State” resistance to constitutional authority.
It is a Dystopia of rampant hypocrisy, where obstructing legislation, supporting a law-enforcement official who strays beyond the limits of his authority, or boycotting a president’s appointments is evil and undemocratic until it’s your party that wants to do it.
Congratulations America – the Dystopian Octopus is winning and feasting on the corpse of America.
American sovereignty and individualism are dying – America is starting to eat itself.
In America today, nothing is sacred.
America is now officially uncomfortable with social issues; many Americans are being radicalized and many people are seeking refuge in collective groups that claim to be a grass roots resistance against an administration they see as a threat to social sanctity.
It is a conspiracy to change the ideology of America and its social values. This is being done to guarantee a blow back of those individuals that are ready to radicalize and create a reason for the new American civil war.
In fact, the ugliness of what can be seen as a social war is already here.
On May 8th, the Boston Herald ran a scathing editorial against people who wish to investigate the safety of vaccinations.
The editorial staff member who left his or her name from the piece was writing about the Minnesota “measles outbreak” that’s infected 41. The focus from the writer is on a Somali community that has long been suspicious of vaccines. But the writer goes on to claim that anti-vaccine people are targeting the community with anti-vaxxer propaganda, which has, in turn, led to the “outbreak.”
In the editorial, the author then finally says “These are the facts: Vaccines don’t cause autism. Measles can kill. And lying to vulnerable people about the health and safety of their children ought to be a hanging offense.”
The American media truly has lost its mind, including its corporate mind, and ethically should be denounced for inciting domestic terrorism and vigilantism.
However, in a Dystopia the media decides to lie in order to protect an agenda.
They will also avoid things if it also affects their agenda.
Frequently, the mainstream media will lie on behalf of the system by what they don’t tell us. One of the more glaring examples of this was back in 1988 when Bill Clinton bombed a pharmaceutical factory in the Sudan, reducing over half of the country’s pharmaceutical products and anti-malaria drugs. The plant was “pulverized,” reduced to nothing but “broken concrete and iron bars,” leaving “thousands of brown bottles of veterinary and other medicines” littered across the sand.
Clinton claimed that it was a chemical warfare factory. It was front page news for a couple of days.
A few days after that, when it was revealed the administration might have been wrong about the factory, it wasn’t even in most newspapers. The major screw up hardly got any coverage.
The devastating effect of the loss of that country’s only pharmaceutical factory has, of course, received even less coverage still in the mainstream press.
All these years later this bombing still has affected the area. With the recent media meltdown over the Russian collusion conspiracy theory – we are now seeing the media has not changed and with their penchant for pack journalism we can also see that they are lazy.
For the last two nights during the local part of my show I have been talking about the murder of DNC staffer Seth Rich and the new revelations that he indeed was an informant for WikiLeaks.
Rich was murdered early in the morning of July 10, 2016. His wallet, his watch, and valuables were still on him, despite claims it was a botched robbery. Days later, WikiLeaks published the DNC emails. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to the capture of his murderers.
The bombshell story didn’t even make the blip on the radar of CNN, ABC and CBS.
All three of the networks completely ignored the revelations by a private investigator that DNC staffer Seth Rich, who was shot dead last July while walking home from a bar, had leaked more than 44,000 internal DNC emails to WikiLeaks before his death.
NBC News did carry an article about the revelations but appeared more interested in debunking the story than investigating its accuracy: “DNC Staffer’s murder draws fresh conspiracy theories,” stated the NBC headline.
The New York Times and Washington Post also passed on the Seth Rich story with nothing on their websites about it as of late last night.
It’s the murder mystery that could throw a wrench into the narrative that Russia hacked the Democratic Party’s emails during the 2016 presidential election in order to influence it in favor of Trump.
There are many questions raised by the latest revelations, but one of the persistent oddities has been the classification of Rich’s murder by Washington police as a botched robbery when nothing was stolen, not his wallet, watch or phone.
Metro police continue to say they have found no link between the DNC and Rich’s murder.
Another revelation forgotten by the media a largely overlooked email from John Podesta’s leaked account has him saying: “I am definitely for making an example of a suspected leaker.”
That would be a smoking gun that should be investigated… but it isn’t and it won’t be.
Few elected officials and others in power want to talk to about the revelations, apparently because the stakes are so great, the implications are so dark and the facts are just beginning to come into focus.
There is no convincing evidence that the Russians hacked the DNC, or fooled John Podesta into giving out his email account password. Even with the Comey revelations, we shouldn’t confuse what triggered the suspicions in the first place.
Even if the Russians did attempt to hack the 2016 election campaigns, that doesn’t mean Rich might not have provided WikiLeaks the key emails.
The media has evolved and has now been swallowed up by the Deep State Octopus. The Octopus has been used in the past to describe the cabal of spies, spooks, crooks and politicians that are the true secret government whose tentacles reach into every facet of our lives.
The Media Octopus is now been charged with the task of creating a very clever conspiracy theory that appears to be gaining ground. The information cudgel has the establishment in an uproar over the Deep State’s attempt to tar and feather President Trump.
Regardless of your political affiliation, this ploy has set in motion the beginning of the destabilization of our government.
