I know for a fact that there are plenty of Americans that do not actually find themselves dwelling on the past, nor do they even stop to think about what is ahead in the future. Most Americans can barely figure out what they want to do in the next 10 minutes let alone the next 10 years.

The election of 2016 made Americans think about politics again. The political right became optimistic about their future, where the left have become pessimistic, cynical, confused and have made it their mission to resist the newly elected nationalist President.

In fact the political divide has evolved into anti-establishment politics where both sides are engaging in activities that will most assuredly send us headlong into a predator state mentality and from there we may be forced internationally to abandon what is broken and establish a new form of government that will most assuredly be part of a global government.

I have stated that I see the so called residence as a threat to our national security and safety. Some may think this is an overstatement, but it has to be pointed out that when observers call Trump a “fascist” in order to denounce him as a legitimate President, they lend credence to a view that somehow his way of running a government is “un-American.”

If President Trump ever devised a plan for the violent overthrow of the form of government we have now, I would then entertain the idea of him being a fascist. Until then, maybe we should look at the groups and the organizations that wish to overthrow the constitution and the rule of law in this country and there you will find the true fascists.

In fact I contend the Trump has no real plan of any kind. In fact he is not going to disband the Democratic Party, he is not going to round up homosexuals and Muslims and the reality is that he won’t even put Hillary Clinton in jail.

Trump is simply an opportunist, perfectly willing to change course in order to save face.

The majority of Americans are more than likely ready to change course at any moment as a lot are just now realizing that the political boondoggle of left and right are not fulfilling their needs.

If you keep your eyes on the Average Americans needs, and not get caught up in Russian conspiracy theories and sex scandals, you wouldn’t be misusing the term “fascists” but instead we could focus on the people forgotten by both Democrats and Republicans.

The big question is –what is happening to those who have been forgotten by these political fights. What is being ignored, and who will come to save them from oblivion?

Many think they have a savior in Donald Trump, others see a savior in Oprah, or George Clooney, even Duane “the rock” Johnson has a shot at the Oval Office?

Maybe even the devil has a shot at the White House – now that would be the cruelest of all jokes, making things so bad that the people would see the Devil as a better alternative to what we have now.

It isn’t so funny anymore and it is not out of the question.

The reason is simple, people lack the critical thinking necessary to understand how government works. They lack the knowledge of basic civics and so they are easily lead down the primrose path to hell.

Young people lack the right kind of education; education that teaches about the importance of solid government, rule of law and the substantive processes of how government operates by the people for the people.

In theory, one of the main functions of public education is to help create a citizenry that understands the functions of government and is able to make informed judgments about how public policy will affect future generations. It is a basic justification for studying history often repeated by historians, that those who fail to learn about the past are doomed to repeat it.

We study history in order to understand how humans have responded in the past to similar events and situations. As a society, we should have a compelling interest in making sure that people understand how government functions, within the context of our history.

But, at the same time, there are powerful commercial interests who see an informed citizenry as a direct threat to corporate power. These corporations would rather have a citizenry that is easily influenced to accept whatever message is given them by the corporate-controlled media.

While there surely are many varied causes for the current American political situation, one among those is the relative ignorance of basic American history, scientific, technological knowledge, and what some refer to as “civics” among a large sector of our population.

It is testimony to the failure of the country’s education system that a high percentage of the voting-age population is simply ignorant of basic facts; knowledge that is necessary to act reasonably and rationally in the political process.

The Declaration of Independence is quite clear about where government power is supposed to come from. It says “Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed.” In other words, the people of the United States give power to the Government. Government does not have the power to “grant” our rights. Where, according to The Declaration, does such an idea come from? According to the Declaration, such ideas are “Self-Evident.”

So, given that The Declaration of Independence is one of the two most important documents in the history of the United States, one would expect that such concepts would be the very foundation of the civics curriculum in our nation’s public schools.

We take for granted that our children are getting an education on how to be responsible American citizens that honor the constitution and the rule of law.

I am sorry to say that the reality is not looking good for the future of the United States.

New Civics and new ideas in how to teach Civics have silently weaved their way into the educational curriculum.

Educators now say that they can reasonably speculate that education for citizenship in a democracy will, with each decade, become everywhere more global, international and comparative in curricular content and processes of teaching and learning.

Educators are confident that what is ahead of us and our children is a framework of government that will be transformed into a globally accepted and internationally transcendent process of democracy. New Civics is a proposed public school curriculum advocating global government and global citizenship in which government grants our rights.

New Civics is opposed to sovereign nations and limited government under the control of the people.

The new Civics are being taught because there is a rush to establish a global government and our children are being programmed into accepting it as the plan and the framework has already been established.

The question is what is blueprint who developed the framework.
