Before I started the Ground Zero show, there was a time in my career that I was not on the radio. One of the radio stations I worked for was sold and I was pushed out of a really good morning show. Being out of work was depressing. I went from a morning show host to being a guy living on food stamps and donating blood plasma just so I could buy groceries.

I had this idea and that was to publish a B-movie horror movie magazine. The idea was to write about science fiction and B-Horror films and sell the magazine at comic book stores.

The magazine provided for me many things. Not only was I making my rent payments with it but I was lucky to get interviews with directors like Wes Craven, musicians like Rob Zombie and invites to horror conventions in California. It was in California where I met directors like Roger Corman and I even spent time with Dolores Fuller, who was director Ed Wood’s girlfriend.

I have talked before about my friendship with Forrest J. Ackerman, the founder of Famous Monsters Magazine. He always had stories to tell about Bela Lugosi, the actor portrayed Dracula, and Boris Karloff who played the monster in the Frankenstein films and he also did a terrifying performance as The Mummy.

Recently, Tom Cruise appeared in a summer film that was a reboot of The Mummy. This project is Universal Pictures attempt to repackage their old monster movies of the 1930’s.

The unfortunate thing is the film bombed at the box office and the critics were not too kind to the film.

Mummies, the preserved bodies of ancient Egyptians, have been a cultural fascination since the early 19th century, when interest in archaeological excavations of Egyptian tombs swept across Europe.

The whole mummy fascination is significant because it was the most prominent link of an Egyptian fixation of the 20’s and 30’s, in no small part because taking mummies from tombs was literal grave robbing. Grave robbing of mummies of course had their various curses involved as the excavating of these bodies were considered sacrilege.

I don’t know if the new film will resurrect a renewed interest in mummies, but a recent story about what can be considered a mummy of strange origin may create a storm of intrigue about our world’s ancient history.

A remarkable mummified body has been discovered in Nazca, Peru. What makes this Mummy unique is that it is in a crouched position, with an elongated skull and three fingers on each hand.

Now for the bigger question: Is this a real find or an elaborate hoax?

If the find is real, then it would change how we look at ancient history.

With the recent unearthing of 300,000-year-old remains in Morocco, the history of humanity is always transforming.

However, for me, I am skeptical of this find even though the scientists involved have x-rayed the mummy and have found that there are real bones under the mummified linens on the body.

The body can be described as looking much like the typical gray alien—that has been depicted and described by those who have claimed to have had contact or have been abducted by these entities.

One of the lead scientists examining this case is Dr. Konstantin Korotkov, a professor at Saint-Petersburg University. Dr. José de Jesús Zalce Benítez, Forensic expert at the National School of Medicine of Mexico, and Natalia Zaloznaja MD PhD, Head of image analysis of the Medical Institute MIBS, also participated in the initial examinations.

The body is estimated to be 5 feet 6 inches tall, and has proportions similar to that of a human. The mummy has three long fingers on each hand and an elongated skull that lacks a nose and ears.

It is covered in a white powder which was apparently used to dry the skin and preserve the remains. The internal organs are said to be intact.

Carbon dating of samples from the body show dates between 245 – 410 AD. DNA sequencing is currently underway.

What is interesting is that while this mummy would appear to be “alien” or like an alien – there really doesn’t seem to be a scientist involved hat will say that this is a bonified alien corpse mummified and buried near Nasca, Peru; however, hieroglyphs in the area where the mummy was found show distinct humanoid figures with large glowing heads and three fingers seen on rock walls.

This isn’t the first time that a possible extra-terrestrial mummy was found and kept under the radar. Recent discoveries of elongated skulls found by Peruvian archeologists are now being investigated as possible alien artifacts.

The skulls were found in Paracus, Peru and were said at first to be the result of the ancient practice of head binding.

However, archeologists found several skulls, at least 300 at the site called Cerro Colorado adjacent to the main graveyard in Paracas, which had cranial volume larger, and in some cases 25 percent larger than those that are assumed to be the result of head binding or cradle boarding.

This would mean the elongated skulls in some of the cases were the result of genetics.

The phenomenon of the elongated skull is not unique to the Paracas area. The Egyptians, at the time of Pharaoh Akhenaton, seem to have exhibited this cranial feature. The recent find in Morocco also yielded skulls that were elongated and perfectly straight teeth—this is the same discovery that indicated the remains were 300,000 years old.

These recent findings harkens back to an era during the Cold War that sounds like it could be taken out of the Indiana Jones films. While these films tell us that the Nazis were obsessed with finding ancient artifacts, it is a lesser known fact the Winston Churchill, Franklin Roosevelt and even Stalin had an interest in ancient artifacts and the powers that may be associated with them.

Influences from Freemasonry, Renaissance occultism, and Christian mysticism formed the wave of alternative spirituality that eventually swept the nation and the world. Esoteric figures and ideas also placed a real and long-range impact on the society’s culture and politics.

Franklin D. Roosevelt, a Mason, sent armies and archeologist to find religious artifacts in the Middle East because he secretly wanted to rebuild a library similar to the one that destroyed in Alexandria.

Henry Wallace, a 32nd degree Mason who would become FDR’s choice for Vice President convinced FDR, to place the Great Seal of the United States ) the pyramid and the occult all-seeing eye on the back of the dollar bill along with the words, Novus Ordo Seclorum, the New Order of the Ages. A historical correlation has been made between the New Deal and the New World Order.

Hitler was especially interested in religious artifacts that he wanted as possessions in order to purge any Jewish ties to Christianity. While Hollywood has told us that Hitler was especially interested in the Holy Grail and the Ark of the Covenant– Other leaders of the time wanted to find religious artifacts and even possess what can only be called alien technology. He also possessed the Lance of Longinus – the alleged sword that pierced the side of Jesus as he died on the cross.

Back in the days of the Cold War between Russia and the United States and its allies, the Russians started to become concerned that the Americans were beginning to gain a technology advantage over them, which they believed was due to reverse alien technology provided by ex-Nazi scientists. There are others that believe that the technology was obtained from the Roswell Crash in 1947.

The Russians became determined to acquire advanced alien technology themselves, so they used their intelligence services to locate several places where extra-terrestrial artifacts might be found.

One of these places was an ancient tomb located in the Giza Plateau in Egypt, in which they based their search on an old legend about the ‘Tomb of the Visitor” also known as the Tomb of the Visitor God.

Another account is that it was actually two Bedouins who accidentally come across the apparent resting place of a strange humanlike mummy with three fingers and a large head. The two apparently became extremely ill after their shocking find inside the tomb and had to go into intensive care in hospital. From their hospital beds they managed to confirm the exact location of the tomb to Egyptian officials.

The Russians managed to sort a deal with their Egyptian allies for information and the whereabouts of this secret tomb, before the Americans managed to get involved.

Immediately, the Russians managed to put together an emergency expedition, calling it of all things Project ISIS – A group of old Soviet Egyptologists, leading scientists and military personnel were assisted by their Egyptian counterparts in locating the top secret tomb. This was verified by Russian scientist Viktor Ivanvich, who had access to classified KGB documents:

“There is no doubt that a small group of Russian scientists with military experts have discovered a tomb in Egypt in 1961. But in the documents it has never been revealed exactly what was found inside the sarcophagus. Only sources of the highest ranks of the KGB know that we have found the remains of an alien creature that died in Egypt 10,000 before Christ.”

The Russians together with their Egyptian counterparts managed to discover the whereabouts of the unusual tomb and reportedly secured numerous artifacts. Apparently a report from a senior KGB officer stated that there were at least 15 boxes of artifacts were taken from the Tomb of the ‘Visitor God’.

There were many hieroglyphic inscriptions in the tomb which were copied by the investigators on site. There was a rather creepy message inscribed on the walls from a prophecy foretelling about the return of a “winged serpent” that would be a harbinger of the end of the world and a reforming of a new golden age.

The ISIS project allegedly found the mummified body of the visitor himself, carefully placed inside a large sarcophagus. The body was estimated to be at least 13,000 years old and was also a lot taller than your average human being.

A year ago it was reported that a dagger entombed with King Tutankhamun was made with iron from a meteorite that came from space.

In 1925, archaeologist Howard Carter found two daggers, one iron and one with a blade of gold, within the wrapping of the teenage king, who was mummified more than 3,300 years ago. The iron blade, which had a gold handle, rock crystal pommel and lily and jackal-decorated sheath, has puzzled researchers in the decades since Carter’s discovery: ironwork was rare in ancient Egypt, and the dagger’s metal had not rusted.

Italian and Egyptian researchers analyzed the metal with an x-ray fluorescence spectrometer to determine its chemical composition, and found its high nickel content, along with its levels of cobalt, “strongly suggests an extra-terrestrial origin”.

That meteorite, named Kharga, was found 150 miles west of Alexandria.

A new genetic study suggests a lineage of Egyptian pharaohs were subjected to willful genetic manipulation by a technologically advanced civilization. Some would call this definitive proof that the builders of the pyramids had a strong connection with beings that originated elsewhere in the universe.

Stuart Fleischmann, Assistant Professor of Comparative Genomics at the Swiss University in Cairo and his team has recently published the results of a 7-year study that mapped the genomes of 9 ancient Egyptian Pharaohs. If proven correct, their findings could potentially change the world’s history books.

Fleischmann and his team subjected the precious samples of ancient DNA to a process called Polymerse Chain Reaction (PCR). In the field of molecular biology this technique is often used to replicate and amplify a single copy of a piece of DNA, giving researchers a clear picture of someone’s genetic fingerprint.

Eight out of nine samples returned interesting but typical results. The ninth sample belonged to Akhenaton, the enigmatic 14th century BC pharaoh and father of Tutankhamen.

There seemed to be increased activity in his sample which points to a possibility that this Pharaoh was more than a man. It appears that his DNA showed some distinct characteristics in his genetic makeup. This may suggest that Akhenaton, one of ancient Egypt’s most mysterious pharaohs, was subjected to genetic modification during his life. If anything, this allegation supports the theory that ancient aliens once visited the civilization that was eventually called ancient Egypt.

It appears this increased activity in Akhenaton’s genome would suggest he had a higher cranial capacity because of the need to house a larger cortex. But what mutation would have caused a human brain to grow? We have yet to discover such a technique despite years of breakthroughs in genetics. Could this 3,300 year-old evidence point out to ancient genetic manipulation? Was it the work of advanced extraterrestrial beings?

About 30,000 to 10,000 years ago, something odd occurred in the evolution of Homo sapiens: a new and different kind of modern human appeared almost magically and began evolving beside Neanderthal man in Europe and the Middle East.

The skeletal remains of a tiny hominid (human-like anthropoid) were discovered on the coast of Africa and are believed to date from about the same period (10,000 – 30,000 years ago).

The hominid was about three feet tall, had an enlarged head, and was very frail and slender when living. The jaw was so weak that it could not have been a predator; it could not have chewed raw meat or cracked bones. It would have been no stronger than a two-year old child. But this tiny creature was discovered in layers of silt that were deposited upon the Earth during the Upper Pleistocene Period before Neanderthal Man faded into evolutionary history and during a period when Cro-Magnon Man underwent an unexplained change.

Archaeology explains much of what we have seen and stops short of describing other beings who have been depicted as overseers, gods, and protectors of the Earth.

Religion itself has created fictional imagery of God or the gods. We only see gods in robes standing amongst the marble columns. It is imagery given to us from the Roman and the Greek. However, the sides of caves and the walls of rock show a different look for these gods.

The recent discoveries in Peru will most certainly be questioned, scrutinized, studied and dismissed by critics that see ancient alien studies as pseudoscience.

The quest continues for our origins no matter how outrageous they might be.
