In an address to Congress in 1961, President John F. Kennedy challenged the nation to “land a man on the Moon and return him safely to Earth” before the end of the decade. He didn’t live to see it, but JFK’s vision assumed reality On July 20th 1969, nearly 50 years ago today.

Even though the Apollo 11 crew left their mark, and we assume that Armstrong really put his foot in the Moon dust, they certainly did not find much up there.

Landmark events in human exploration and scientific discovery often generate numerous stories that have now become conspiracy theories and of course, the Moon landing still creates a lot of speculation and skepticism.

To this day, there is a cloud of mystery surrounding the Moon – some say the whole Moon landing saga never happened, while some speculate about Moon bases, Masonic rituals, and even the first lunar alien contact.

However, on this day where we observe the Moon landing anniversary and wonder why it isn’t a national holiday, I would like to open up some least known stories about the Moon landing that may be forgotten conspiracy theories or may be lunar urban legends but are seriously intriguing even if you don’t believe the Moon landing happened.

History buffs will recall that when Neil Armstrong, the first astronaut walked on the moon he made a mistake when saying his famous “One small step speech.” He was supposed to say, “This is one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.” Well the words he said are history but the words he said after are in the outtakes. You will probably never hear or see them on Bloopers and Practical Jokes, but story goes that he made a few remarks after his two feet hit the lunar sand pile. The story from NASA is that Armstrong made the comment “Good luck, Mr. Gorky.”

Many people at NASA thought it was a casual remark concerning Russia. That perhaps some cosmonaut named Gorky was Armstrong’s rival and that it was some blow below the belt at Russia’s failed attempt at a moon landing. However, upon checking, there was no Gorky in either the Russian or American space programs. Who was Gorky? People always confronted Armstrong and asked about Gorky and Neil would turn red and smile, but never talked about it.

Now, the story goes that when he was a kid he was playing baseball with a friend.

Armstrong threw a pitch and his friend hit a pop fly ball, which landed in the front of his neighbor’s bedroom window. Mr. & Mrs. Gorky were his neighbors.

Neil ran to get the ball. As he leaned down to pick it up, he couldn’t help but overhear Mrs. Gorky yelling at Mr. Gorsky. There she was screaming at the top of her lungs “Oral sex! You want oral sex?! You’ll get oral sex when the kid next door walks on the Moon!”

So it is said that he mumbled those words after his monumental flub of his lines as he stepped on to the surface of the Moon.

This story has been handed down for some time, but NASA issued a statement saying that it was an urban legend.

Some say it was from a comedy routine that was performed by Buddy Hackett – there were no transcripts documenting the weird statement.

However, weird things allegedly did happen on the way to the Moon, some are documented while other seem to remain in the fringe and have been declared conspiracy theory.

In fact, it was actually reported that the mission before the Moon, Apollo 10 had a peculiar event happen.

In a few critical moments on the fifth day of the mission, astronauts Tom Stafford and Gene Cernan found themselves in a near-fatal barrel roll just 50,000 feet above the lunar surface, in a tin can of a spacecraft that had no business surviving such a crisis. It did survive, just barely.

Apollo 10 astronauts also claimed that while they were orbiting the far side of the Moon they heard what they described as space music.

The sound began once the capsule was on an hour-long trip around the far side of the Moon, out of the range of any Earth broadcast. At one point the baffled astronauts can be heard discussing whether they should tell NASA command or not.

The sounds lasted almost the whole hour that the capsule was on the far side of the Moon, and back on Earth the recording was shelved by NASA until 2008, when it was declassified.

A similar story allegedly was told by Neil Armstrong during Apollo 11 trip. However, his account led to the report that after the experience Armstrong converted to Islam.

While in space both Aldrin and Armstrong had heard a singing voice which Armstrong later discovered while in Egypt had been chanting the ‘Adhan’ (the traditional Muslim call to prayer). The rumor goes that on finding out what the words were, Armstrong converted to Islam.
The story found its way onto the pages of newspapers in Egypt, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

Over a period of time the first man on the Moon was then contacted by particular religious organizations, governments, and individuals inviting him to take part in Islamic activities. Although emphasizing his desire not to offend anybody or disrespect any religion he advised the Department of State that while he was investigating Islam and that he did not convert.

At least that is what was said officially by the state department. When Neil Armstrong continued to find himself the focus of some similar unwanted attentions, he felt it necessary to have a phone conference with members of the press in Cairo in which they heard him say that he was not a Muslim. To this day some are rumored to believe that his public denials on the issue were only under extreme pressure from the US government.

Another well-known concern from the public is that it was also reported that Astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong performed Masonic rituals on the Moon.

In the December 1969 edition of The New Age, an interview with Buzz Aldrin revealed some interesting views on Freemasonry, its place in the world, and space. Perhaps most notable was the comment, “When man reaches new worlds, Masonry will be there!” Given his adventures as part of the Apollo 11 mission, it was clear that Aldrin classed space and the Moon as “new worlds.”Throughout the issue, Aldrin made no secret of his involvement with the Freemasons or the fact that (according to him) they were well invested in all aspects of modern life.

Given how many Masonic lodges have their roots in ancient Egyptian secret societies and how many high-level NASA officials have such Masonic connections it is claimed by some that the end goal of the Apollo 11 mission was to perform an ancient ritual in an attempt to “open communication” with a deity from the “beginning of time.”

Much of the planning of the Apollo 11 mission, in particular the launch window, fell at the feet of a man named Farouk El-Baz. He determined the precise details of the launch and the landing itself, including exactly where and when the astronauts would touch down on the moon.

El-Baz had Masonic links, and his father was an expert in ancient Egyptian rituals. Many Masonic lodges still used elements of these rituals in modern times. When those with vigilant eye on such things studied the details of El-Baz’s work retrospectively, they began to pick up on what they believed were connections to such rituals “hidden in plain sight” within the timings and coordinates of the mission.

It has been proposed the real mission of Apollo 11 was to open a communication “portal” of sorts to the ancient deity, Osiris. Such a ritual was performed by those at high levels in the secret societies of ancient Egypt to gain knowledge and wisdom.

Both the landing site and the precise timings of the mission are said to have been down to an apparently perfect alignment of Orion’s belt with the Moon’s horizon on that specific date and time. These were key aspects of the ritual to open communication with Osiris, coincidentally or not.

After landing but before leaving their craft for the Moon’s surface, the Apollo 11 crew took part in a small Communion ceremony according to official records. This was probably not surprising as millions of Americans do the same thing as part of their faith.

However, the Rite of Communion dates back beyond the Catholic Church to ancient Egypt.

The Apollo 11 astronauts left various items on the Moon’s surface before they returned to Earth. As well as the US flag, they also left a stone plaque, a solid disc, a symbolic gold olive branch, general debris, used equipment, and parts of their suits not fit to make the return journey due to radiation exposure.

However, it is claimed by some that more objects remained on the Moon. These items contained Masonic symbols and offerings to Osiris as part of the communication ritual. The “secretive” offerings supposedly included silk Masonic scarves that were “blessed” on the Moon. At least one of these scarves was said to have been brought back to Earth after this ritual and presented to a Masonic lodge in Washington, DC.

In theory, the Masonic astronauts were actually taking part in a ritual where the first rock they took from the moon and brought back to earth is said to represent the bringing of Prima Materia to Prima Terra, which is alleged to be one of the Occult Alchemical Processes.

According to Michael Hoffman II, the prevailing conspiracy theory of The Occult Political Use of Chaos and the Alchemical Purpose of Revolution and Assassination in Creating a New World Order includes:

!. The Creation and Destruction of Primordial Matter (= atomic power)
2. The Killing of the Divine King (= assassination of JFK)
3. The Bringing of Prima Materia to Prima Terra (= Apollo 11)

It is believed the Moon was useful in the process of occult ritualism and the “Revelation of the Method” where occult beliefs, symbols, practices, methods, and actions are revealed to public.

Well-read researchers of the Illuminati conspiracy, at some time or another, have come across the theosophical branch of the plot and discovered that the New World Order architects will eventually, ironically, reveal just what they are doing in order to initiate us into their cult and warm us up to its horrific fulfillment. Although it might seem counterproductive for them to do this, it’s actually quite ingenious.

Besides Farouk El-Baz, Neil Armstrong, and Buzz Aldrin, it very much seems that NASA was (and arguably still is) awash with Freemasons and those closely connected to Masonic lodges and interests. Freemason Jeff Edwin Webb served with NASA as its administrator for the majority of the 1960s. Kenneth S. Kleinknecht, the overall manager of the Apollo program, was a high-ranking member of the secretive group. Many other notable NASA astronauts also have Masonic ties. If there is any truth at all to the claims of Freemason involvement in the Apollo 11 mission, the Freemasons certainly had no shortage of “insiders,” including the astronauts themselves, to help achieve this.

Buzz Aldrin even carried, but did not display a Masonic banner during the mission.

The number 33 is extremely important to Freemasons for various reasons. Perhaps most notably, there is the highest level of Freemasonry, the 33rd degree Freemasons of the Scottish Rite.

Many significant events in modern history have taken place on the 33rd parallel. For example 33rd degree Freemason and 33rd president of the US Harry Truman entered us into the Nuclear age with the A-Bomb test at the 33rd Parallel Trinity Test Site in White Sands, New Mexico. He later authorized two more to be dropped near the 33rd parallel at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. About 3 years later at the 33rd parallel in Roswell, New Mexico was the famous UFO sighting and subsequent AREA-51 base. JFK was murdered at Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas near the 33rd Parallel on 11/22/63 (11 + 22 = 33).

Given the links to Freemasonry and the Apollo 11 mission, it is again understandable that some drew attention to the number of times “33” appears in connection to NASA. For example, the only launch pad at White Sands, New Mexico, is Launchpad 33, and following the first shuttle mission, the landing on Earth took place on Runway 33.

According to many researchers, exactly 33 minutes after landing on the Moon’s surface, Buzz Aldrin performed a ritual inside the lunar module. Officially, Aldrin was taking Communion before leaving the module to explore the Moon’s surface.

If they were performing rituals and making offerings to the Ancient Egyptian deity, for what reason would this have been? Why had they focused on this particular god of antiquity of all the thousands they could have chosen?

Was it simply to satisfy one particular person’s interest in such things, a person who just happened to be in charge of planning the launch? Or did the real drivers of the mission have knowledge that was, and still is withheld from the vast majority? Knowledge that is only available to those in such secret societies. It is perhaps worth remembering that many of these secret societies believe their bloodlines go all the back to the Pharaohs and the gods of Ancient Egypt.

Perhaps more importantly, is the question of did they actually manage to achieve any kind of communication with such higher beings. In an event that is already a magnet for conspiracy, it is certainly otherworldly food for thought.
