Here in the Northwest, there have been numerous reports about the solar eclipse and how the authorities are going to treat it like a natural disaster. The logistics of millions of people gathering in small rural Oregon towns could cause traffic problems and scarcity in food. But of course, it will not stop people from traveling to the path of totality.

There is a small but vocal group of apocalyptic watchdogs that are generating the end of the world paranoia.

The world is not ending, but the eclipse may once again signify that the times of the universe are about to go through significant changes; many of these changes will be subtle while some may affect a lot of people as the fore structuring process of a New Aeon or philosophy of mind will most definitely change the way we perceive time.

The general theory of relativity allows an abundant variety of possible universes, including ones in which time has truly bizarre properties.

For example, in some universes the possible trajectory of an observer can loop back upon itself in time, to form what is called a closed time line curve. In these universes time travel is possible, in the sense that an observer traversing such a curve would return to exactly the same point in space time at the “end” of all the temporal exploring.

Anciently, the solar eclipse meant an existential threat to how we perceive time.

It was seen as the conquering of the old sun and the changing of the ages. It was a sign of one sun defeating the other – a restarting of the time line. Even though the world as we know it will not end when the eclipse occurs , our collective unconscious mind feels a primal tug that reminds us of how a passage of time ended and how a new age would begin.

Based on both the Bible and some scientific data, it might seem reasonable to think that a solar eclipse like the one millions of people will view on Aug. 21 occurred during the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

A translation of the Gospel of Luke 23:44-45 in the New American Bible says so without qualification:

“It was now about noon and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon because of an eclipse of the Sun.”

Two other gospels note the sudden midday darkness. From the King James version of the Gospel of Matthew 27:45, “Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.” Mark 15:33 says, “And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.”

Scholars, to be sure, still debate the exact year that Christ was crucified, certain that it was between 26 A.D. and 36 A.D when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea. Jesus is thought to have been 33 when he died.

In 2012, German researchers, looking at earthquake data along with Biblical clues — for example, Jesus was killed at Passover about the 14th day of Nisan on the Jewish calendar — posited that the most likely date of his crucifixion would have been April 3, in the year 33.

NASA maps charting the paths of some 5,000 years worth of solar eclipses, from 2000 B.C. to 3000 A.D., do, indeed, chart eight total solar eclipses and a bevy of annular and partial eclipses between 26 A.D. and 36 A.D.

Once again in a matter of word play, the Sun went dark signifying the death of the Solar Sun – on the day of the death of the Son of God.

This changed the way we view time or the measurement of time from B.C, Before Christ, to A.D. which means after death or Anno domini which is Latin for “In the year of our Lord.”

It is interesting to note that the purpose of the B.C. /A.D. dating system was to make the birth of Jesus Christ the dividing point of world history. However, when the B.C./A.D. system was being calculated, they actually made a mistake in pinpointing the year of Jesus’ birth. Scholars later discovered that Jesus was actually born around 6—4 B.C., not A.D. 1. That is not the crucial issue.

The birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Christ are the “turning points” in world history. It also can be said that these “turning points” were universal hinges based on changes in our sun and conquering sun rituals providing observance of universal revolution the end of one era and the beginning of a new era.

Like it or not, religions today have their basis in Solar theology – something that we owe to the ancient Egyptians.

It is the basic tenet of following the light of illumination or choose the other path to outer darkness.

This metaphor of light and dark was part of the solar theology that had become popular prior to the Common Era or BCE.

Egypt had a major hand in popularizing solar theology which portrayed God as being omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. God according to solar theology was both far away and yet close like the Sun and sunlight. God was present to his believers and responsive to their prayers. God was in the world as light shines in the dark and yet above the world unsullied by the material realm. Egyptian religion also made the distinction between God who created the Sun and the Sun itself as the solar disk. God was the spiritual light that could be experienced within.

The cherished values of Christianity preceded Christianity and it can be argued that something as simple as a Solar Eclipse sparked a spiritual reverence and humility in mankind.

Somehow, the death of the Sun anciently gave us a time of the saviors or the emergence of many external saviors, pontiffs, and omnipotent leadership.

Most western Christians today do not realize that they are programmed into the belief of a messianic leadership. This is something that is a threat to democracy. Most Christians believe that the future holds for them a messiah that will direct the affairs of the government.

This type of thinking throughout history has given us the colorful reigns of Napoleon and Hitler, who convinced Western Christendom that God had ordained their causes. These monsters of our history books knew that people would kill for a chance to blindly follow or serve “one” who believes himself to be a savior or a God hero.

This “blind faith” phenomenon appears in times of great peril or perceived danger. It is preceded by a time of cultural dissonance, demoralization, and disappointment.

We are in that time now. The cycle will spin in the direction of a “World Leader” who will gain his throne through divisive means. There are tools and procedures that need to be carried out in order for this to take place.

As Manley P. Hall stated in “Secret Teachings of All Ages” the dark monarch that encompasses the yin and the yang, the dark and the light, the balance of all forces, is known as the Great Servitor. He is both the Dark Lord and the bearer of all illumination.

This Lord or Messianic figure is as much the product of the people over which he takes hold as it is of the internal charisma of him who ultimately comes to hold messianic power. There has to be that symbiosis between leader and follower; the “one” cannot exist without the idolatry associated with the adoration of the critical mass.

With this in mind you may want to look over the leaders of this world and perhaps ask yourself: who has the potential to be the world messianic figure? What leader has the charisma to hold that position?

Chances are this leader is someone you are already fond of. Someone who you already think would be a charismatic leader, whom you will stand by even though his policies and plans are not what are best for the world.

In history, it is necessary to admit the awful truth that people are far more responsible for bringing a Hitler into the world than is the leader himself. They permit the actions of the messianic leader because of the deep relationship that has been cultivated through social engineering.

There have been and always will be charismatic leaders that will be in the public eye. They will get the same attention only reserved for a God and it is the idea for an external savior that answers to a corrupt church or philosophy that is a pinnacle part of dispensationalist, end times prophecy.

The darkening of the sun may usher in a time of the dark patriarch, whose aim is to tear down the pillars of the universe in order to rebuild it in his image.

The metaphor is that a Dark Sun exists or the Dark Soul is to be embraced.

Dark figures are being seen in literature as the saviors now. This breeds an idea of accepting leaders and heroes with questionable origins, questionable affiliations, questionable political philosophies and loyalty conflicts that stem from spiritual poverty.

Nostradamus has always included within his prophetic couplets the symbolism of the eclipse and how they mark the sky with an air of dread.

In Century III Quatrain 34 we read:

“When the Eclipse of the Sun will then be
The Beast’s Omen will be seen in the daylight
One will interpret it much different from the rest
High price unguarded: many ill–prepared for it”–Century III Quatrain 34

A solar eclipse or a soul eclipse is highly significant in the spiritual realm. It also has ancient ties to the rise of the Dark Sun God. There are many Christians who are fearful that we live in times of the rise of the “Antichrist.” There are countless prophecies that again say that in order for the circle to complete itself; there must be a time of darkness followed by a healing process that eventually brings back light and joy.

Nostradamus, in his “Epistle to Henry II”, made reference to the symbolism of a solar eclipse and the rise of a dark lord who becomes the “Antichrist”, whose New Order becomes a feared empire.

“Then the great Empire of the Antichrist will begin where once was Attila’s empire and the new Xerxes will descend with great and countless numbers, so that the coming of the Holy Ghost, proceeding from the 48th degree, will make a transmigration, chasing out the abomination of the Christian Church, and whose reign will be for a time and to the end of time.

This will be preceded by a solar eclipse more dark and gloomy than any since the creation of the world, except that after the death and passion of Jesus Christ.

In the Christian faith, Jesus is recorded as performing 33 miracles before his death at age 33. This was in the year AD 33 although some believe the date might be incorrect. Edgar Cayce wrote that there were 33 incarnations of Jesus. The Vatican recognizes 33 Doctors of the Church, the last being St. Teresa of Lisieux. In the Vatican, St. Peter’s Basilica has 33 chapels. The Anglican rosary has 33 beads and the Greek Orthodox prayer rope has 33 knots. From the King James version of the Bible, John 3:3 says: “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Gematria is the practice of coding numbers into words, names and phrases. In this system, the number “33” is of great importance.

The eclipse that will be seen August 21st will appear 33 days before the stellar convergence of Virgo –which many people claim to be a fulfillment of the prophecy given in the Book of Revelation Chapter 12.

The scripture in the Apocalyptic writings of John says:

“A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of 12 stars. She was with child and wailed aloud in pain as she labored to give birth … She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod.”

On September 23, 2017 the sun will be in the zodiac constellation Virgo — “a woman clothed with the sun”. The moon will be at the feet of Virgo — “with the moon under her feet”. The ‘nine’ stars of the zodiac constellation Leo, plus three planets (Mercury, Venus, and Mars), will be at the head of Virgo — “on her head a crown of 12 stars”. The planet Jupiter will be in the center of Virgo, and, as the weeks pass after September 23, Jupiter will exit Virgo to the east, past her feet, so to speak — “She was with child and wailed aloud in pain as she labored to give birth”. Jupiter is the largest of the planets, the “king” of the planets, so to speak — “She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod”.

This star formation will supposedly occur on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017. There is a lot of rampant speculation on the internet both for and against the legitimacy of this sign.

The remarkable coincidence of the count of 33 days after the eclipse sends an apocalyptic chill.

The eclipse occurs in conjunction with Regulus, the “King Star”. Regulus is the brightest star in the constellation Leo and Leo is one of the two constellations involved in the Revelation 12 Sign. The fact that this eclipse occurs in Leo, which will be part of the Great Sign the month after, is astonishing.

The eclipse will be first seen in Oregon. Oregon became the 33rd state of the union in 1859. The path of totality is said to end in Columbia, South Carolina – located at the 33rd North parallel.

An eclipse like this hasn’t happened in 99 years. That would be 3 x 33 years.

The day of the eclipse is the 21st, 21 is 3 x 7=21

There will be another eclipse 7 years later that will traverse the United States its crossing point will be over an Illinois park known as “the Trail of Tears.” What will happen in that seven year gap?

Only time will tell.
