HELTER SKEPTIC – A NARRATIVE AT GUN POINT

Today is the anniversary of the assassination of the Dr. Martin Luther King. Martin Luther King’s philosophy was that of Loving Your Enemies. King said that a man must discover the element of good in his enemy, and every time you begin to hate that person and think of hating that person, realize that there is some good there and look at those good points which will over-balance the bad points. We sure could use a little advice from Dr. King about now. Especially from those who claim to espouse his values are encouraging a racial schism that may lead to an escalated civil uprising.

As I look through news stories piecing together all of the paranormal attributes of the news, I always stumble on a few things that I immediately realize are a perfect fit in the narrative puzzle. I know that parallels may or may not be connected and some may see them as non sequiturs, however there are many stories that I conclude “write themselves” and the picture that was once a blur becomes more transparent.

AN APRIL FOOL IN THE UNCANNY VALLEY

On April fool’s day 2012 The Ground Zero show celebrated 17 years of paranormal and intriguing news and Forteana. I had a small get together with friends and supporters of the show. While sipping coffee and eating chocolate cake there were a few people at the gathering that had very interesting things to say about the future.

I was having great discussions about remote viewing, Psionic warfare and discussions about genetic tinkering and if DNA bases and genome tracking were all part of the plot to eliminate people. However there was one particular point that rarely is brought up and that is the tracking of genetic codes and DNA databases have been established for the sole purpose of creating a doppelganger to replace you. A very paranoid view and is probably more hideous to think about than just being killed off for some sustainability cause.
