ISON: THE PANDORA STRAIN
As we attempted to give you details on the possible reasons for the FEMA Region 3 alerts and preparation, we had arranged to have a whistleblower come on the show to give details on what she knows about what is happening behind the scenes and how it appears that there seems to be some concern about the possibility of what is called a “sweeper effect” where a major celestial body will pass close to the earth and with it comes space debris that could inadvertently hit the earth and perhaps pose a threat.
Like a proverbial Chicken Little, the circumstantial evidence indicating that the sky falling is found in the receipts that have been provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the millions of dollars being spent on MRE’s , heater meals, ammunition, and pouches of water.
There is also reports of some 300 schools that have requested preparation kits that can provide sustenance and health provisions in case of an emergency.
Delivery of these preparations have been given the due date of October 1st, 2013. There have been conspiracy theorists that have speculated that on October 1st, 2013 we will see some sort of major event where the United States will be plunged into Martial law.
On October 1st, Comet ISON will be approaching Mars and while scientists are not saying that this comet will collide with the red planet, there is a possibility that in 2014 Comet Siding Spring may pass close enough to either have impact or affect the surrounding systems like perhaps the Martian moons Phobos and Demos.
The question on everyone’s mind is whether or not ISON will create a “sweeper effect” that may push space debris or other space rocks our way creating a heavenly bombardment.
Astronomers studying the dramatic Chelyabinsk meteor that exploded over Russia this past February now suspect that it was a fragment of a larger celestial body and that upwards of 20 related asteroids may be on similar trajectories towards Earth.
It all comes to whether or not a force can give a push to these rocks and whether or not they pose an immediate danger to earth. There is most definitely is a reason for preparation for the possibility of such an event.
The asteroids, which are suspected to be part of the same family, range in size from about 16 to 660 feet across. Two are relatively large, including the 200-meter wide 2011 EO40 which was put on NASA’s list for concern last year; this asteroid, which has frequent close encounters with Venus, Mars, and the Earth-Moon system, has an orbit that's very similar to the computed pre-impact path of the Chelyabinsk super bolide that exploded over Russia with the force of an estimated 500 kilotons.
This of course should be considered as ISON will be a prominent fixture in the sky through the winter months. Now, there seems to be a lot of concern along the Eastern seaboard for some reason and the concern has also been demonstrated by information that has been issued by FEMA to areas including Puerto Rico.
While there have been witnesses who have seen increase military activity and anomalous activity in the sky the same type of preparedness paranoia has swept into the tiny island and officials are concerned about a number of things that could happen in the aftermath of such extra-terrestrial encounters.
One thing that has not been ruled out is that not only are the authorities of Puerto Rico preparing for the same events as their counter parts in the Northeast, but they have also made allocations for stockpiling various anti-virals, vaccines and antibiotics.
The CDC in the United States has ordered that there should be at least $11 Million dollars allocated for these vaccines and other remedies to have on hand in case of an outbreak. The deadline for having all of these drugs on hand is October 1st, 2013.
There are a few bloggers that have questioned the reasons for these vaccines especially if the running theory is that there all of these preparations are for Comet ISON.
There are several answers as to why this may be the case. Of course it is necessary to prepare of any scenario however there were a few headlines that were announced in science magazines this week that make you wonder what exactly is going to happen if the Comet ISON affects the earth in a negative way.
If you dig deep into ancient folklore about comets their appearance occasionally heralded positive events, like the birth of a king or success in coming battle, more often it was taken as a bad omen of disaster.
The Fall of Jerusalem in 70 BC was "foretold" by a comet four years before. In 79 AD the eruption of the volcano Vesuvius which destroyed the city of Pompeii was attributed to a comet. In 1665 a comet preceded an outbreak of the Black Plague that killed almost 100,000 people in London.
There has always been a preoccupation by scientists about whether or not the tail of a comet produces poisonous gasses that could kill things on earth. While most of these notions have been proven to be fraudulent, there has always been a concern that solar winds and perhaps the tail of the comet can leave behind space seeds that later mutate into emerging diseases.
One such disease is called Pandoravirus Salinas and Pandoravoris dulcis. Back in July of 2013 it was reported that French scientists discovered a very large virus in sediment found off the Coast of Chile and in a shallow freshwater pond near Melbourne, Australia.
What is frightening about the discovery of this virus is that 93 per cent of pandoraviruses genes resemble nothing known on planet Erath, their origin cannot be traced back to any known cellular lineage. Which leads some scientists to believe that the virus could be extra-terrestrial, brought to earth by way of asteroids and comets.
Now the good news is that the virus is not a pathogen to humans, however it can be found as parasites in amoebas that can find their way into humans.
If you recall there was a news story earlier last week where a four year old boy in the St. Bernard Parish of New Olreans was playing on a slip n slide inhaled water and later died because an alien like brain amoeba entered into his body and began eating his brain.
In addition to being rattled by the tragedy of a young boy dying, this case has locals concerned because of how he acquired the infection. The amoeba called Naegleria lives in fresh-water, ponds and rivers. Most cases occur when someone goes for an innocent dip in a pond on a hot summer day and somehow enough Naegleria-infested water gets into his nose to set up a lethal infection. Pond and river water, unlike municipal water, is untreated or filtered. The water is not “cured” with chlorine to kill amoebas. So the occurrence of the infection in a person exposed to pond water is actually logical.
To be infected with and amoeba carrying a pandoravirus parasite would be a rare event, however very possible and with what we know about space viruses, could very well be a risk with the arrival of Comet ISON.
In the book “The Andromeda Strain” by Michael Crichton, a sample retrieval satellite is sent into space to collect micro–organisms for study. A malfunction occurs and the retrieval capsule crash lands in a desolate area of Arizona.
Concerned citizens from a nearby town find the capsule and try to figure out where it came from. Two military officers are sent to retrieve the satellite. When the officers arrive in the town, it appears to be abandoned.
The officers are later heard on the radio screaming and gasping for breath. The capsule’s protective shielding has been breached and an alien bacterium is released into the air.
The new alien bacterium clots their blood within three seconds of entering their lungs.
The book was written at a time when there were serious concerns about astronauts being contaminated with space viruses when they traveled to and from the moon.
It was eventually decided that there was no reason to quarantine the astronauts.
When Apollo 12 retrieved parts of the Surveyor 3, which landed on the moon in April of 1967, bacteria was found in the probe. It had survived the launch and managed to stay alive on the airless surface of the moon.
The bacteria were Streptococcus mitis. It is a bacterium that is normally found in the nose and throat. We really have not talked about this case and that the possibility exists that an alien or mutated virus could have been unleashed accidentally on the planet.
When someone suggests that perhaps a microbial life form could survive extreme conditions or mutate, it is usually laughed at because it seems that many people believe that conditions for life anywhere, including space, are narrow and rigid.
We are told that in order to find life on a planet, it has to be so many miles away from a sun, there has to be a certain temperature for life to exist, there must be water, and the air has to have certain components to keep the organisms alive.
We have been told this countless times, and yet the Surveyor 3 story is buried somewhere in the dust of the Sea of Storms. An Apollo astronaut, Pete Conrad, even says that the story somehow got lost in the high fiving and rock collecting on the moon. Some people may even think that the story is as farfetched as the moon landing itself!
When one hears of great plagues one of the first things they think about is the plagues they have read about in religious texts. Out of nowhere strange viruses and parasites would arrive and kill a lot of people. Many of these plagues were either part of prophecy or called down by a prophet who sees his people as persecuted. A disease called down from heaven can be identified as a type of biological warfare. If the disease is unheard of on earth, and if we can’t fight off its affects it can be labeled an alien threat.
Alien seems to be a word that takes on a lot of meaning these days. We can attribute it
to the aliens we see in science fiction movies and we can also see an alien is an unwanted aggressive attacker that becomes a parasite and eventually incapacitates or kills its host.
The possibility of plague and biological threats to the planet need to be considered as we are experiencing effects of active solar activity and the passing through various charged particles of comets.
Fred Hoyle, an astrophysicist, and Chandra Wickramasinghe, an astronomer, have argued that all infectious diseases—from plagues to the common cold—were originally brought from deep space by comets and transferred to earth by micrometeorites.
They believe that a comet was responsible for the influenza epidemic of 1918 to 1919, which killed 30 million people. They support the idea of that with panspermia, diseases can come from the sky. There has always been the notion that comets are harbingers of death and plague.
The appearance of comets and the emergence of new incurable diseases seems to be highly synchronous. The effects of sun bursts from various storms can also trigger diseases and reactions. However it becomes difficult to trace or directly link plagues and diseases to harsh sun activity, the only real threat that has been confirmed is cancer.
Science fiction has always tackled the idea that with arrivals of alien beings, or coinatct with these beings there can be a reaction that was similar to when Columbus discovered the new world and many of the native tribes came down with various diseases.
In the Book Heart of the Comet by David Benford and David Brin an expedition to mine resources from Halley’s comet results in the discovery of life forms that pass a contagion that wears down the crew. The discovery of life forms with a contagion on the comet convinces the inhabitants of earth that they should use space weapons to destroy the comet and all of its life forms.
The idea of diseases from space and comets has always been discussed but never really proven. However the astronauts in the 1960’s and 1970’s were always forced into isolation in case they brought with them interstellar bugs from space. The space age is 40 years old it has literally been closed down and yet there has always been an interest in harnessing the building blocks of life from Comets and Asteroids and with many failed experiments from NASA we may not ever know if some of these space diseases have arrived.
Imagine that the idea of first contact would not be with intelligent extraterrestrials but with very clever extraterrestrial diseases brought to us special delivery from comets and asteroids.
Our dreams of cute little ET's coming down and saving us maybe just that, a dream, the nightmare would be far too small to realize and a very real possibility in our brave new world.
