Back in 1996 Puerto Rico reported that a strange creature called the Chupacabra was attacking farm animals.  Being Bi-lingual I was one of the first American reporters to do a story on the beast when I was doing Ground Zero.

During that time I also was doing work with Rick Emerson. Emerson and I tossed around the idea of doing a parody song to the tune of the Macarena by Los Del Rio. We had producer Robert Lund provide the music and Charlene Spencer did the main vocals and I sang back up.  The song wound up on the ART BELL Show and eventually became a hit parody song on Mexican radio.

I wrote a story that was featured in Farshores and Fortean times about how I thought it was some mongrel dog. Now a man in Texas claims he has one http://www.kcra.com/irresistible/20661717/detail.html
