A truck and trailer carrying about 100 monkeys was on its way to a CDC facility and collided with a dump truck last Friday near Danville, PA. A woman who came upon the crash to render aid became ill, shortly after encountering the monkeys. The CDC is now monitoring local residents for cold-like symptoms. This unfortunate and alarming incident is reminiscent of movies depicting contagion outbreaks and just one more creepy synchronicity that has a lot of people worried.
