APOCALYPSE BY NUMBERS
PREPARING FOR THE FOURTH TURNING
MONOLOGUE WRITTEN BY CLYDE LEWIS
Last week, I reported that a serpent slithering out from between the ancient stones of Israel’s Western Wall chasing a pigeon sparked fears that it was a harbinger of a major event that would be a fulfillment of prophecy for the apocalypse.
All of the numbers, the symbols and all of their values were adding up to a turning point in history. When claims like these are made there are many people who are expecting all kinds of hell and fire, at least something that would be the equivalent of a Cecil B. Demille biblical epic.
Chances of that happening are low and most people do not even take the time to see the signposts of prophecy and if the media is not aware of the certain nuances of prophecy – they will not fasten special meaning to it. All fulfillment of prophecy is in the eyes of the beholder.
It only works if you are knowledgeable about the whole game of the apocalypse.
The myth or legend tells us that man gained knowledge during his evolutionary trail. It reported that knowledge was the very thing that caused man to fall or decay.
How it is that obtaining knowledge causes anything to fall? If anything, the creator would expect us to gain knowledge, in order to better ourselves. But of course, the confusion is that man obtained his knowledge from the “serpent.”
This is why the serpent metaphor has had a profound impact on the worshippers in Israel and the connections to the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life. It also has spun the renewed awareness of the reptilian agenda brought forth by ancient beings that would hide their reptilian faces behind human masks.
This race of beings are meant to torment mankind and in the process, spark a change where behaviors would have to adapt to a new paradigm.
The so-called alien threat or the beings that threaten us would be rumored to be among us and that their cunning plan is to turn the planet in a completely different direction.
It would be a grand intervention or a cosmic Deus Ex Machina where the entire civilization would have to be decimated, divided, and left to rebuild after a cataclysmic cycle.
Carl Jung wrote about the alien intervention and how it is a part of our consciousness. It is quite fascinating because it seems that the so–called alien invasion happens because we summon these chaotic beings. They come to torment us because we send the signal to them without even knowing it.
In Jung’s analysis, the concept of alien intervention and the UFO phenomena represented a form of alienation, with one’s “self” projected into the sky. According to Jung, “the aliens” act as harbingers indicating that something is terribly wrong with the world.
Some of these so–called aliens bring inspiration and revelation to certain individuals. The contactee attempts to point out how we can save the planet and reconcile our relationship with the universe.
But if this reconciliation does not take place, the alien intervention can backfire and become malignant. The result is blight and destruction.
Jung states “It depends on us whether we help coming events to birth by understanding them, and reinforce their healing effect, or whether we repress them with our prejudices, narrow-mindedness and ignorance, thus turning their effect into its opposite, into poison and destruction.”
History demonstrates that Jung may be right about the alien consciousness and what it can do to civilization. Keep in mind that “alien consciousness” is not enlightenment by extraterrestrial intelligence—alien consciousness is an invading consciousness that turns into a malignant philosophy.
Searching through other writings throughout the ancient epics you will find that when an alien infestation occurs and there is overpopulation of vile or mentally deficient creatures – a fall or a falling away takes place and man is either destroyed or made to go back into his beastly, or, to use the metaphor, “alien” state.
Many of these epics or myths speak of the times before the cataclysmic cycle begins, and a destruction of the earth brings about mass death in order to balance nature. All is controlled and planned by these beings with an effort to leave behind frightened survivors.
This way, the remaining inhabitants can be reminded of these mysterious ones and their power.
The fear is then wired into the consciousness and soon the beings in question recede into the background, their functions assumed by human surrogates where the cosmic conspiracy rests with the secret combinations and pacts that are made by man with these mysterious beings.
Blight and decay set in and then there is a cycle of destruction.
Religious history has shown that there always has to be a pact or a covenant made with these extraterrestrial agents in order to prevent further deterioration or a falling away.
Just a few days ago was the anniversary of the nationwide panic initiated by Orson Welles’ radio broadcast of War of the Worlds in 1938 – exactly 80 years ago. A clearly fictional account of evil Martians attacking our country should not have done anything but entertain Americans still suffering through the Great Depression. But, the mood of the country certainly contributed to the terrified overreaction.
Orson Welles was not purposely trying to terrify the nation, but events during 1938 and the seemingly never-ending hard times had the nation on edge. Germany had invaded and occupied Austria before creating a crisis with threats about invading Czechoslovakia and starting another world war. Neville Chamberlin became notorious as the most famous appeaser in world history by declaring “Peace in our time” after handing Czechoslovakia to Hitler.
War would break out one year later, ultimately engulfing the entire world and resulting in the deaths of 65 million people. The economy and stock market had re-crashed again in 1937, leading to more pain and suffering across the land. The masses were mentally beaten down, frightened by the possibility of war, and susceptible to fear invoking events or narratives. Welles accidentally touched a raw nerve and instantly created panic.
Here we are eighty years later and the mood of the country is similarly on edge. We are ten years into an “economic recovery” for Wall Street, while Main Street still struggles to make ends meet. Real wages have barely budged in two decades, while energy, healthcare, food, rent, and education costs have soared for the common people.
Our focus has been on politics. The country just ended an election cycle and again a pattern emerged – one that is often described as a split decision in the election where the division will remain and the country is again heading for what can be seen as a civil discrepancy that can actually trigger instability that feels like a civil war.
In the strangeness that is our world, prophecy still is being observed in the holy land. A Red Heifer is born, the faithful warn of an ancient alien consciousness that occupies the human body and forces it into becoming reptilian and territorial.
In the meantime, scientists are curious about a strange cylindrical interstellar object that made its way through our solar system a year ago. Two scientists from Harvard are now suggesting that the red elongated Oumuamua was, in reality, an alien spacecraft tumbling through space.
It has been suggested that the so-called ship used solar sails and was sent by an older advances civilization to explore and observe.
For the first time in 80 years, scientists are making such an outrageous suggestion that seems to be a vindication for those who believe that extraterrestrial intelligence has been watching this planet.
The announcement, similar to what Orson Wells gave to the people in the 1930’s took a year to reach the mainstream press and it was conveniently announced at a time where people are concerned about the political welfare.
However, the media like Welles, creates other phantoms to keep us anxious.
The mainstream media functions as Orson Welles, convincing large swaths of the public to fear the phantom Russians, mad bombers sending fake bombs to left-wing pundits from his Trump decorated van, compensated marching Hondurans 1,000 miles from our borders, evil Syrian dictators, non-existent Iranian nuclear bombs, global warming—and the list goes on.
These are immediate scares that we can see as tangible as and therefore more believable than the real threats from space.
The social distress we are experiencing in the world is nothing new, despite the outrage proclaimed by linear thinking mainstream media talking heads that have zero understanding of history or the cyclical nature of mankind across the centuries.
The laughable thing is that the media will look over the possible alien probe in space – they will identify the Harvard scientists making the claim of its existence insert it between the politically expedient crisis and then later dismiss it as some sort of internet conspiracy.
The truth is we are supposed to know better and if more people were aware of the cyclical nature of what is happening – they would not be so quick to dismiss that which sounds outrageous because it is about to get even more peculiar; in fact, so peculiar that people will question what they have been taught all these years.
Twenty years ago, there was a book that presented a theory about cyclical catastrophe and life-changing world events. The Strauss & Howe theory states that every 80 years we begin to see patterns emerge in history.
The Strauss–Howe generational theory, also known as the Fourth Turning theory or simply the Fourth Turning, was created by authors William Strauss and Neil Howe.
According to the theory, historical events are associated with recurring generational Archetypes. These generational Archetypes unleash a new era called a turning in which a new social, political, and economic climate exists. These successive eras turnings tend to last around 20–22 years.
These eras are then part of a larger cyclical “saeculum” (which usually spans between 80–90 years, although some saecula have lasted longer.
The theory states that after every saeculum, a crisis recurs in history, which is followed by a recovery.
According to Strauss and Howe, the Third Turning is an Unraveling. The mood of this era they say is in many ways the opposite of a High: Institutions are weak and distrusted, while individualism is strong and flourishing. The authors say Highs come after crises, when society wants to coalesce and build and avoid the death and destruction of the previous crisis. Unravelings come after Awakenings, when society wants to atomize and enjoy– it has been claimed that the Unraveling leads to a culture war.
According to the authors, the Fourth Turning is a Crisis. This is an era of destruction, often involving war or revolution, in which institutional life is destroyed and rebuilt in response to a perceived threat to the nation’s survival. After the crisis, civic authority revives, cultural expression redirects towards community purpose, and people begin to locate themselves as members of a larger group.
The authors say the previous Fourth Turning in the US began with the Wall Street Crash of 1929 and climaxed with the end of World War II.
We saw the unraveling process after the Second World War we are seeing the culture war and soon we will see a crisis that changes us.
The authors describe each turning as lasting about 20–22 years. Four turnings make up a full cycle of about 80 to 90 years.
Like I pointed out earlier, 80 years ago we were preparing for World War II and people were introduced to the possibility of alien invasion with a radio play that sparked the anxiousness of the era.
We now are living in times where the chain reaction of unyielding responses by the left and the right accelerates at a breakneck pace, with absolutely no possibility of compromise. A new emergency or winner-takes-all battle seems to be occurring on a weekly basis, with the mid-term elections and an announcement of a possible alien probe in the news, we appear to be in a weird historical rhyme.
Last night I said that I see no positive outcome from these elections. The no holds barred ad campaigns being waged by both sides have sunk to new despicable lows.
The overwhelming consensus the news media for months has been for Democrats to retake the House by picking up 20 to 30 seats. The attempted Brett Kavanaugh lynching by left-wing extremists and left-wing media, along with the third world caravan invasion of aliens of a different kind, has dialed up the intensity and enthusiasm of Trump supporters.
Whatever happens next will certainly provide synchronous fulfillment of theory and prophecy as events will more than likely deepen the anger, hate, violence and turmoil, which has already been elevated to levels portending civil war.
The generational alignment of Fourth Turnings is creating the dynamics leading to the increasing intensity, distress and high likelihood of aggression, hostility and war. These crisis periods strike like clockwork on an eighty-year timetable. The 2008 financial crisis struck seventy-nine years after the 1929 stock market crash that catalyzed the Great Depression/World War II Fourth Turning.
Americans should be vigilant about what is happening but they continue to be paralyzed by normalcy bias, cognitive dissonance, and propaganda from those in power, foolishly believing that their political parties and the external saviors in Washington will make sure everything runs smoothly.
Odds are if you are to observe the Apocalypse by numbers, you will see that the Fourth Turning is about to puts us in a whole new paradigm.
Governments and religions are now encouraging the ideologies that tip the scales towards destruction. It is all a part of a great Luciferian conspiracy where everything is a permitted act and the only reality they give you is death. Then they take death, nail it to a cross, and expect you to kneel before it.
The alien consciousness that wishes to enslave us has already taken hold, and those in power will use it to take away your cognitive liberty, making us all equally ignorant and dependent on their word.
They will control and eventually exploit the so-called alien threat and they call it by different names. People can describe it, write about it, and even attempt to give proof that exists; however, until powerful governments and religious authorities acknowledge it, the alien reality will be shown to be the result of some mental deficiency or magical thinking.
The truth is that the decaying process has begun and many feel that it is now out of their control.
