6/12/18: FLEET WEEK

FLEET WEEK

MONOLOGUE WRITTEN BY CLYDE LEWIS

Every year, there is an event here in Portland that I have always had mixed feelings about. The event is called “Fleet Week.” Of course, this is what you get when you live in a Naval Port City. Huge battleships come to port and there are sightings wall to wall of sailors and officers all over the city.

When the military ships pull into Portland, there are many bridge lifts that cause traffic problems. That of course, is the biggest problem. Not being able to go from Point A to Point B without having to be backed up for hours.

For some reason, I was on the internet wanting to know more about Fleet Week. I learned that it has always been a tradition to have the Naval fleet move in and kick off the Rose Festival.

Well, aside from the history lesson I got about why Navy ships back up traffic, I saw something that caught my eye that opened me up to some fascinating discovery.

I saw a headline about some declassified reports on possible alien fleets that have been documented in past CIA and FBI files – it was worth a peek and what I found was amazing.

The new focus on deep space exploration, fully-funded and operating with larger budgets for research and development, is now providing information about our solar system than what science knows now. It could signal new data for physicists to hone their understanding of space, time, gravity, and more. It could revolutionize our understanding of biology, geology, and metallurgy.

For UFO disclosure advocates, that translates into more equipment, cameras, and people in space. With so much traffic going up, so too should reports of UFO sightings there would be more data to study, and more ammunition to argue for disclosure. It could, by accident, create a scenario for open contact with non-government officials if a private company were to induce contact or at least identify things in space that may signal that something or some alien travelers are heading our way.

The more advanced things are, the more we will hear of discoveries in space that really have no real explanation; however, it can spin a number of speculative ideas as to what is out there observing us from a distance. .

During the 1970s, astronomers became aware of a massive radio source at the center of our galaxy that they later realized was a Super massive Black Hole (SMBH) – which has since been named Sagittarius A*.

And in a recent survey conducted by NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory, astronomers discovered evidence for hundreds or even thousands of Black Holes located in the same vicinity of the Milky Way.

But, as it turns out, the center of our galaxy has more mysteries that are just waiting to be discovered. For instance, a team of astronomers recently detected a number of “mystery objects” that appeared to be moving around the SMBH at Galactic Center.

Using 12 years of data taken from the W.M. Keck Observatory in Hawaii, the astronomers found objects that looked like dust clouds but behave in ways that could be either stars or alien mega-structures.

Mega-structures that are similar to what was discovered near the Kepler discovery KIC 8462852. This discovery generated a controversial theory that what is out there is a Dyson Sphere or a Dyson Swarm.

A Dyson sphere is a hypothetical megastructure that completely encompasses a star and hence captures most or all of its power output. It was first described by Olaf Stapledon in his science fiction novel, “Star Maker.”

The concept was later popularly adopted by Freeman Dyson. Dyson speculated such structures would be the logical consequence of the long-term survival and escalating energy needs of a technological civilization, and proposed that searching for evidence of the existence of such structures might lead to the detection of advanced intelligent extraterrestrial life.

These structures could be seen as a way that extraterrestrials can harness energy to keep their planet alive and to also transfer energy to spaceships capable of traveling long distances.

If an intelligent alien race does exist in a faraway solar system, it could one day make itself known through the imprints of its technology, experts say.

Just as Earth is circled by an ever-growing network of satellites, a planet inhabited by an extraterrestrial civilization may, too, be surrounded by spacecraft emitting their own signals.

As a planet transits its star, the researchers say objects in this region may cause disturbances in the light to reveal their presence.

This could indicate that star fleets piloted by aliens could get their power from their sun and use that power to travel great distances and send messages out into space that will also travel great distances.

Recently, NASA video shows a gigantic shape emerging from the Sun. The event was spotted on helioviewer.org, a website launched by NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) to give regular people access to images and data from the Sun. Archived images go back as far as 15 years.

The video clearly depicts a massive object exiting the sun and moving away quickly. It is shaped like a butterfly and manages to maintain a consistent structure as it moves away from the sun. Whilst some have speculated that it a normal solar ejection of some sort, such as a flare, it does not seem to match any known patterns consistent with a flare or any other usual solar activity.

The object is expansive, estimated to be as much as 100 times the size of Earth.

Obviously NASA will not comment only to say that there are flares from the Sun that may look like massive space ships, but of course, they won’t even admit that life can be on Mars.

Scientists reported last Thursday that NASA’s Curiosity rover has found potential building blocks of life in an ancient Martian lakebed. They did stress that they are not saying that there is life on Mars. The probability is now higher that there is life out there – if not on Mars then there is definitely life elsewhere.

The question has always been is it intelligent life and does it have an interest in us enough to communicate or show itself.

Roughly two years ago, the CIA published online, a trove of declassified documents. The documents included reports from as far back as the 1940s on topics like the Cold War and thousands of pages of daily briefings from two presidential administrations and eerie, unexplained UFO sightings. Roughly 930,000 documents — more than 12 million pages in all — were posted in The CIA reading room. The CIA actually provided a searchable database of the documents that were previously only available to the public at the National Archives in College Park, Maryland.

Users who enter “UFO” into the database can find more than 1,738 results, with publication dates spanning from 1942 through 2009.

There are just too many documents to actually read in one setting and each one has its own story that at times has redaction after redaction.
The CIA had disseminated historical declassified documents to its CIA Records Search Tool (CREST) and agency officials said the new searchable documents reflected the CIA’s commitment to increased accessibility.

The documents certainly prove that intelligence agencies have been looking into UFO phenomena since the late 1930’s and have also been scanning the skies with telescopes identifying structures and large objects that have been seen near the moon, Mars, and Venus. There were also large planet size spheres that were also observed near the Sun.

Now, what people don’t know is that there are some peculiar items that Of course, leak through the government’s veil of secrecy.

On October 21, 2004, the NSA approved for release to the public a portion of their NSA Journal Vol. XIV No. 1. This is a report of a presentation given to the NSA by Dr. Howard Campaigne regarding the decoding of extraterrestrial messages that had been received “from outer space”. Apparently, these messages had actually been received via the Sputnik satellite, but no one had any idea how to decode them at the time.

In the journal, we read that, “Recently a series of radio messages was heard coming from outer space. The transmission was not continuous, but cut by pauses into pieces which could be taken as units, for they were repeated over and over again. The pauses show here as punctuation.

The various combinations have been represented by letters of the alphabet, so that the messages can be written down. Each message except the first is given here only once. The serial number of the messages has been supplied for each reference.”

This means that the NSA has already received intelligence briefings on extraterrestrial messages and has created a translation key to understand their messages. This is similar to what was seen in the movie arrival where linguists were trying to decipher the alien language using a logographic system.

At some time, unspecified in the document, Dr. Howard Campaigne and some other NSA super mathematicians in the crypto department had been given the task of decoding the messages. There were a total of 29 messages to be decoded.

Dr. Campaigne’s presentation to the NSA on decoding the extraterrestrial messages was not a hypothetical exercise.

This is truly remarkable information. No one from the government has stepped in front and confirmed that ET exists. But, here we have the most secret intelligence organization in the U.S.A., the National Security Agency, disclosing openly that there has been contact with intelligent extraterrestrials. Not only that, we have decoded their messages.

In that same year, March 10th, 2014, declassified footage of what appeared to be a fleet of space ships was detected over the Pacific Ocean and were seen by the ISS heading towards earth. The sighting was immediately explained by NASA to be city lights from Earth at night. This does not explain why NASA shut off the cameras as soon as the so called city lights were not seen nor was the city mentioned.

Two years later, another declassified document was released saying that in 1991 there were mysterious sounds heard in the water some 3000 miles off the Eastern coast of New Zealand, 2000 miles north of Antarctica, and 2.5 miles deep.

The sounds were said to be that of some strange beacon that continued to send pulses that were detected by marine recording equipment.

The area where the beacon was detected was in an area known as Point Nemo which is better known as the “spacecraft cemetery.”

According to NASA’s Orbital Debris Office, any objects re-entering Earth’s atmosphere cannot exceed a 0.0001 chance of impact with humans, meaning that if the entry were to occur 10,000 times, there would only be one human casualty expected.

So far, it is estimated that 263 spacecraft have been crashed here since 1971, and the number is continually growing. The Spacecraft Cemetery’s most famous resident is MIR, the 142-ton Russian space station.

MIR was decommissioned in 2001 and subsequently sent into what is called, orbital decay or spacecraft death. Other spacecraft in the graveyard range from rockets’ secondary payloads to spy satellites, small Russian space stations, fuel tanks, and hundreds of cargo ships that carried supplies to astronauts in orbit.

Russian objects far outnumber every other space agency when it comes to the Pacific Ocean; there are more than 190 Russian objects alone. The US is next with 52 objects, then Europe with 8, Japan with 6, and finally Space X dropped its second stage there in September of 2014.

The next big ticket item likely won’t make it there for another 12 years. The International Space Station will eventually crash into the Pacific Ocean upon its decommissioning, expected sometime around 2028.

While NASA and other space agencies use the area for burials at sea for much of their decommissioned space craft, Marine biologists have recoded some very strange sounds from in or around that area in the pacific that indicates there may more than space wreckage.

When I read of this phenomenon, I was thinking that this was similar to various plots in science fiction where beacons or signals were coming from the ocean to signal an extraterrestrial fleet that may be passing over the Earth from space.

In Star Trek: The Voyage Home, there is the scene where an enormous cylindrical probe moves through space, sending out an indecipherable signal. As it takes up orbit around Earth, its signal disables the global power grid and generates planetary storms, creating catastrophic, sun-blocking cloud cover. The Earth finds itself in cataclysmic cycle with no explanation. The alien probe is sending a signal and is getting no reply. For some unknown reason it decides to destroy the Earth.

Mr. Spock determines that the probe’s signal matches the song of the then extinct humpback whales, and that the object will continue to wreak havoc until its call is answered. The crew uses their ship to travel back in time via a slingshot maneuver around the Sun, planning to return with a whale to answer the alien signal.

Wouldn’t be fascinating to discover that on a dead spaceship somewhere lost in the Pacific is a probe that sends out a signal to an orbiting fleet of aliens, giving them coordinates on where to land their ships?

This brings us to the recent jump in UFO reports from all over the United States. There have been a number of sightings being reported as the spring and summer months approach and the skies are relatively clear at this time of the year.

The most compelling report that was released recently was the report of a UFO sighting that was picked up by amateur astronomers taking a look at Jupiter. On June 1st, Jupiter was the most dominant planet in the sky along with Saturn, Venus and Mars.

Images captured by amateur astronomers show a giant alien structure that entered our solar system very recently. The giant alien structure, which was spotted approaching Jupiter’s moon Europa, resembles an interstellar mother ship or a UFO armada.

The evidence comes from a series of images captured by Louis Read, an experienced amateur sky watcher from the city of Bristol in the UK.

The amateur astronomer captured the incredible images using a Canon 650D camera with a 7D-300mm telescopic lens mounted on a tripod in his private backyard garden.

UFO researchers consulted Solar System Scope, an online 3D simulation of our solar system in real time, and confirmed that the object was a foreign body, or more precisely, a massive artificial structure that entered our solar system.

In the United States, the debate continues over exactly what the truth is behind the sightings of anomalous objects that are above the Earth. The U.S. Air Force has explained on many occasions that a lot of what is seen can be explained. However, with the obsession of extraterrestrial mythology and reality, every bright light, shooting star, experimental plane, and weather anomaly can end up on the front pages of tabloid newspapers and on special fringe news programs labeled as bona fide extraterrestrial craft with the acronym UFO attached to it.

The truth is that while much of what we think of UFO’s can be attributed to Cold War mythology, the reality has taken a turn for the complex and even though NASA may take the position of denial, soon it will be awfully difficult to hide what is being revealed to us if we just look up.
