6/22/20: AMERICAN CONSENSUS – HIDING FROM THE HUMANITY

Clyde Lewis | June 22, 2020

MONOLOGUE WRITTEN BY CLYDE LEWIS

Surprise, surprise – the world did not end as was proposed by those who stated that the Mayan calendar was off about eight years. We all knew that we still would be here, but the feeling of dread seems to be consistent but the question is whether or not it needs to be all that dreadful.

The other night I was mentioning how people are demanding you care about everything but the reality is you really can’t care about everything otherwise it becomes overwhelming.

I think that perhaps it is time to learn to tell the difference from what reality is and what consensus reality is. I know for some it is fundamental, but the world today has somehow fallen for a caustic and toxic group think.

We can blame it in politics we can blame it on the media, but the bottom line is that we have to take some responsibility and understand that what may be good for the consensus is not always good for the entire country.

This is the problem today: we are being told not to question the consensus. If you question consensus thinking you are then the object of ridicule, however, in the end when common sense takes hold those who were fooled by consensus thinking will have to face the consequences.

Think of all of the things that your local governments want you to do. Think of everything the media wants you to think about, think about those people who love to ask you what side you are on and think about how you would love to just give them and earful when they try to tell you how to live your life.

You don’t have to live by consensus. This is a choice. A choice that far too often is not made because we are all supposed to stand for something or fall for anything.

Consensus thinking is the reason why we are in these dire times right now.

I was actually watching the John Bolton Interview on ABC News last night and I actually heard the phrase “In these trying times, or In these uncertain times, or “In these perilous times” and I thought how many people when they hear it actually start thinking that there is no hope – no way of escaping the despair of what is happening?

I am not here to tell you times are not bad – they are bad—they always have been but we were never reminded constantly that things are perilous and that of course is something we need to analyses.

Who decided that we are living in perilous times? Who is the arbiter of deciding what is uncertain or perilous and why do they have to encourage this type of thinking. Why is it that those who wish to impose restrictions on this want to all hide from humanity?

It is not always prudent to quote a book written by one of the biggest villains of the 20th century but I feel it is appropriate given the way we are spinning into the dystopia that his example gave us.

In Hitler’s Mein Kampf, we read:

“In the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously.

Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying. These people know only too well how to use falsehood for the basest purposes.”

While it’s easy to find someone you can count on to advance one particular lie at one particular time, it is difficult to find someone you can be absolutely certain will lie for you day after day, year after year, through election cycles and administration changes and new war agendas and changing political climates.

Truth, as we all know, is revolutionary act and many people are being told lies about how they do not have a future and that our current situation is damning us to a future world of death blight and decay.

Death blight and decay have been with us for millennia and the earth has always been on the verge of ending – sometimes civilizations do disappear and as history has shown us, they usually come back better than they were.

The same old story never ends in history. The disempowered want change; those in power want predictability and consistency. The more you can guarantee predictability and consistency to those in power, the more those in power will reward you.

Propaganda and the controlling of the narrative is a legitimate weapon for an ostensibly free democracy to inflict upon its citizens of course; manipulating the way your citizenry thinks is manipulating the way they vote and organize and what they consent to, and is plainly sociopathic.

People often believe that they are not manipulated and that their decisions are a product of one’s own free will.

However, things are changing – and not for the better.

There is yet another pattern I see that I want to share with you. This pattern sounds like it has been taken from a horror science fiction novel.

George A. Romero had a film in 1973 called “The Crazies” where people dealt with bouts of insanity. Deranged behaviors led to suicides and then others took part in murder and rioting. While the film eventually revealed that an external force was responsible for these actions – we are now living in a time where something internal, something sociopathic and strange is haunting people’s minds.

When it comes to COVID-19 sure there are going to be spikes in infections after the Memorial Day Holiday but the knee jerk reactions and the idea that we should wear masks as an accessory indefinitely is over the top and is not based at all on science – contrary to popular belief what we are going through now is based on consensus and while we have people that are telling you it is science – they are only telling you a half truth.

To wear a mask or not wear a mask, to social distance or not social distance, to be cajoled into believing if you are asymptomatic you are going to kill someone – it is only consensus that fuels this.

We have gone through all of this before.

Should we get vaccinated? Fluoridate our water? Fight global warming?

It’s difficult for many of us to base the answer to these questions on what a nameless, faceless expert tells us, since we like to think we have the capabilities of gathering the relevant information and making up our own minds.

Part of having a working mind means having the confidence to gather, synthesize and draw conclusions from the information you can access yourself. To an individual with a working mind, the fact that most people, even if it’s the overwhelming majority of intelligent, informed people believe in something shouldn’t shape your opinion at all.
Your freedom of choice and moral sovereignty are some of the most valuable traits we possess as human beings.

Things have certainly gotten really crazy here in 2020. First we witnessed the eruption of the worst global pandemic in 100 years, then the U.S. economy started collapsing, and then we watched major U.S. cities burn from coast to coast as rioting and looting spiraled out of control. Everywhere you look, people are very angry and deeply frustrated, nearly 46 million Americans have filed for unemployment benefits over the past few months, and fear of COVID-19 continues to paralyze our society to a frightening extent. But can this really be called the lowest point in modern U.S. history? According to one recent survey, a whopping 72 percent of all Americans actually believe that this “is the lowest point in the country’s history that they’ve ever been alive to see”…

Across two polls, more than 5,000 adult U.S. residents were recently surveyed on the state of America right now. A staggering 83% say that worrying about the future of the United States is a big source of personal stress. Also, 72% believe this is the lowest point in the country’s history that they’ve ever been alive to see.

That appears to be quite a consensus.

Of course many of those that were alive during the Great Depression of the 1930s and the early days of World War II would strongly argue that what we are experiencing today is nothing compared to what they had to deal with.

And without a doubt, the twelve years from 1968 to 1980 were not easy years by any stretch of the imagination. Just like now, Americans of that era were facing great civil unrest, tremendous economic problems, major political shaking and a global pandemic that killed a lot of people. If you don’t know about that pandemic, just Google “the flu pandemic of 1968”.

Having said all that, there is definitely a case to be made for 2020. Not even during the Great Depression did we ever see the kind of apocalyptic spike in unemployment that we have witnessed this year. Even though nearly 46 million Americans have already filed for unemployment benefits since the COVID-19 pandemic began, big firms continue to lay off thousands upon thousands of workers. On top of that, more than 100,000 businesses have already permanently closed their doors, and Americans have already skipped payments on more than 100 million loans.

We did not arrive here because of science, we arrived here because of consensus we got here because of social engineering and what is most sick and twisted is while many will find a scapegoat as to who is responsible for this social engineering it appears that no one truly knows how to expose the consensus manipulation.

Whoever they are they should be tried for crimes against humanity, and the American people should without bias understand the political theater that is involved with what is happening here.

Michael Crichton wrote that “if it’s consensus, it’s not science, if it’s science, it’s not consensus”, but only a bit. Consensus is a political concept, not a scientific one.

Consensus finds a way through conflicting opinions and interests. Consensus is achieved when the outcome of discussion leaves everyone feeling they have been given enough of what they want. The processes of proper science could hardly be more different. The accomplished politician is a negotiator, a conciliator, finding agreement where none seemed to exist. The accomplished scientist is an original, an extremist, disrupting established patterns of thought. Good science involves perpetual, open debate, in which every objection is aired and dissents are sharpened and clarified, not smoothed over.

Often the argument will continue forever, and should, because the objective of science is not agreement on a course of action, but the pursuit of truth.

Remember, it is the pursuit of truth it is not always Truth and science has an uncanny knack of changing its mind.

If people tell you that science is truth then ask them if Pluto is a planet.

In August 2006 the International Astronomical Union (IAU) downgraded the status of Pluto to that of “dwarf planet.” This means that from now on only the rocky worlds of the inner Solar System and the gas giants of the outer system will be designated as planets.

Technically, it is not a planet but the rest is left for consensus – so what is the truth?

Science is still in pursuit of it – we are told that Global Warming is truth but is it? It is based on consensus strategies of proposed models and projections based on current trends.

A few spikes in hot temperatures does not mean that it will continue – the projections and most of what is being told to us is based on political consensus to actually change the planet on a political level.

If you think that rendering to world to the level of State Socialism is going to change the climate then you have fallen for the consensus lie.

You may think you are adhering to science, but you are following political whim.

Climatologists know about Climate Change, but little girls from Sweden, opportunistic politicians, lawyers, philosophers and economists, are not equipped or even qualified to assess conflicting claims on these issues.

Our default is to science – but what is really going on is political consensus.

Science is a matter of evidence, not what a majority of scientists think. Science is pursuant on the idea of results – not some idea that COVID -19 attacks you if you are in a small business or in a Walmart – or whether or not you are at church or a protest.

Science does not or has not proven that masks are going to protect you – only experts that are paid by governments to push a political maneuver say so.

Did anyone even take notice into considering that with all of the social distancing, mask wearing, and voluntary stay at home quarantine we still managed to kill over 100,000 Americans in four months?

That we are told is science. But in reality it is consensus.

What we should learn from this is that people die regardless of what triggers it, COVID-19, the flu, pneumonia, exposure to some toxic chemical. That is science. We know that everything finds a way to die – we are just avoiding the inevitable and politicians tell you that they have experts that are guiding them.

The whole purpose of staying in homes, wearing masks, and social distancing was to take the burden off the hospitals, to somehow pace the problem so that there was no overwhelming onslaught of cases.

But then something changed, after the numbers were crushed and the cases peaked and ebbed. The politicians showed their true colors. They decided to make it a political take down of the current administration.

So they leaned on the experts to give them reason to not look foolish, to make it look like they weren’t playing political theater but guess what it is not working.

The economy is tanking, and sure businesses are open, but are they running in prudent and practical manner?

Restaurants are opening that they are now being run like school or prison cafeterias.

Numbers are critical to the economy, but science is not at all involved with economy. Our Governor said that it looks like wearing masks has to mandatory and that we will probably have to wear them all the time that does not affect my belief that this is not science because I know it is consensus.

People are ripping down statues all over the country – they say it is because the statues are those of racist confederate leaders.

However, they tore down a statue of Ulysses S. Grant. They have torn down the statues of men that are our founding fathers, Lady Liberty in the harbor might be next. Is this because someone knows history? – no, of course not, it is by consensus.

Hitler was very good at encouraging people to burn books and ignore history because it was easier for him to push the big lie by consensus.

Hitler knew that he had to get the people to do it so that he would not be blamed if it all fell apart in the end.

All he would have to say is – you chose it, after I suggested it – it doesn’t mean you have to act this way.

There are innumerable examples of when people overwhelmingly — perhaps even unanimously — believed something to be true or valid, yet were proven to be wrong by the harsh truths of reality. The fact that there was a consensus did nothing to change the outcome of what the Universe wound up delivering. It’s why, perhaps, regardless of your politics, you can agree with Margaret Thatcher’s definition of “consensus” as quite a dirty word:

Consensus: “The process of abandoning all beliefs, principles, values, and policies in search of something in which no one believes, but to which no one objects; the process of avoiding the very issues that have to be solved, merely because you cannot get agreement on the way ahead. What great cause would have been fought and won under the banner: ‘I stand for consensus?”

Meanwhile, fear of COVID-19 is going to continue to paralyze our society for the foreseeable future.

I don’t know if you have taken a look at the numbers lately, but the truth is that the number of confirmed cases in the U.S. is starting to surge again. For the planet as a whole, Friday was the worst day of the pandemic so far by a very wide margin, and that means that this crisis is a long, long way from over.

There are already whispers that there may be new lockdowns here in the United States. I seriously hope that does not happen, because that would be another crippling blow for our collapsing economy, and the virus just continued to spread during the first round of lockdowns anyway.

It doesn’t have to be this way – if we just realized that we are vulnerable no matter what happens to us.

Hovered more rioting, looting and violence is now part of the new normal. This is because we are giving these people a pass. They shouldn’t get one – crime is crime and it should be dealt with but the consensus is somehow excusing their behavior while hypocritically telling others to wear masks and social distance.

Really stupid logic – and is full of hypocrisy.

Since this is an election year, tensions are going to be running even higher than usual, and even a relatively minor spark could cause another round of major civil unrest.

But as bad as things are right now, what most people don’t understand is that this is just the beginning.

The cycle is all because of what the experts are telling us – well what the experts have said is no working – it is not working – keep lying to yourself that it is .

It isn’t.

We have entered a time when we are going to be facing one crisis after another, and this is going to be true no matter what happens during the election in November.

We have reached a moment in history when all of the cycles are ending, all of the bubbles are bursting, and we are going to experience the consequences of all the very foolish decisions that we have been making for decades.

All because of consensus.
