FIRST THEY CAME FOR INFOWARS

Many times I have used my show as a means to present topics that I am literally trying to assess in order to find a thread of sanity in the midst of the insanity. It has been a catharsis in many ways, listening to others and trying to cleanse myself from all of the inhumanity.
It is with the listeners being the media and speaking to me on the air I find salvation. It is the listeners that reminds me that there are a plethora of individuals in the world that are aware, sharp and awake. I value that in my listeners. I look around and I see many people falling for what we call here ‘conspiracy bait’ that is being generated in order to make those who question the official story look like they are mentally challenged.
That is why I often caution my listeners – to be careful what you believe about an event because what the media may tell you is a terrorist attack and is quite literally, nothing of the sort.
For a few days, I was noticing that the mainstream news was providing nothing new and nothing interesting, only that they were waiting with baited breath over whether or not the mob situation in Portland would turn into another Charlottesville. While I was in the middle of the civil disturbance, I was moved to speak on the air live about how what I was witnessing was nothing but theater. The Portland Police did their best in trying to keep the situation under control and it appeared that they were succeeding until Antifa wanted a fight with the Patriot Prayer group.

The police responded with the usual flash bangs and a few arrests were made. The civil upheaval was well under control by the 6’oclock news.
However, what did not get coverage was a group that gathered away from the crowd at City Hall. There were Communist flags that were being held by what were called the Soviet Squad, and there was a woman speaking about the evils of Capitalism and Nationalism equating it with Nazism and white supremacy.
There was no media coverage of the Communist rally – just the continuing coverage of the violence and civil discord happening a block away. I realized how much of a distraction the protest was and how the media chose to name who they saw as the bad guys and giving Antifa the generic moniker of “counter protesters.”
I immediately came into the studio and prepared a show to try and get the word out and everything I said began to counter what the national media was reporting. While I saw this as political theater, the media again spun it as Alt-Right, Nazi White Supremacy while antagonizing the public.
It just simply was a bit of cosplay, with tourist taking pictures of those who were bleeding from having rocks thrown at them.
For a moment, I felt like I was not in the United States anymore and that somehow, I had been transported back in time during the final breath of the Dirty War in Argentina on 1983.
This morning I woke up to a tweet that was sent out by President Trump:
“The Fake News hates me saying that they are the Enemy of the People only because they know it’s TRUE. I am providing a great service by explaining this to the American People. They purposely cause great division & distrust. They can also cause War! They are very dangerous & sick!”
Now journalists are saying that their lives have been threatened as a result of what they are claiming is Trump’s war against the media. They now contend that Trump has declared war on the First Amendment right to a free press.
However, there is a strange inconsistency that has now reared its head. While the mainstream claims that the President has declared war on their ability to conduct there affairs; constitutionally, they are now celebrating the move by Facebook, YouTube, Spotify and iTunes to remove any and all material created by Alex Jones and Infowars.com.
It was announced today that Apple has removed the entire library for five of Infowars’ six podcasts from its iTunes and Podcast apps.
This comes just days after YouTube removed multiple Alex Jones videos and gave him a community strike for alleged “hate speech,” which is the catch-all excuse being used by Apple, Facebook, and Spotify as their justification to silence him. A YouTube strike effectively prevents Jones from live streaming his broadcasts on the platform.
I was stopped on the street today and was asked what my feelings were about what has happened to Alex Jones and I stated that what is happening to Alex will happen to other people who do not fit some nebulous criteria that have been imposed by these social media platforms.
It is an attack on the people’s press and independent journalism. It is also a response to the President’s declaration of war against the press.
Paul Joseph Watson wrote on Infowars:
“Apple, Spotify, Facebook and YouTube all banned Infowars within 12 hours of each other, illustrating how last night’s purge was a coordinated effort and has nothing to do with these platforms enforcing “hate speech” rules.”
This is a terrifying example of how all platforms are attempting to hopscotch our existence and cherry pick what they believe is an enemy to the information monopoly.
It is an attack on a group that has been a part of the United States for 200 years and that is the group that questions the motives and movements of the political culture.
The idea on unapproved knowledge is now a threat to the mainstream media and so now they have come for Infowars — a move that once again, confirms what we discussed when I used Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 as an object lesson in what we are facing with the latest purge of information that has been branded as hate speech by the heads of the popular social media platforms.
It now appears that we have been so perpetually overwhelmed by the reality TV version of news and information that we are deprived of free thought.
It is anathema to choose an option of alternative news, because it has been labeled hate speech and is being purged.
This illustrates perfectly the ignorance and dependence on mainstream theater that consumes humanity in the absence of education and sound information.
You may not agree with Alex Jones, you may love him, even if you hate him you have to look at the bigger picture. Set aside prejudice for a moment and consider that this coordinated attack against him and his InfoWars broadcasts and social media presence should severely concern everybody that sees the abuse of power to exclude information that they do not agree with.
However, it needs to stressed that this is not a government that is censoring Alex Jones – it is the people that are doing this. The people that have demanded the social platforms to exclude and purge InfoWars from their platforms.
If they can silence Alex Jones online, with his vast resources, they can, and will, eventually silence us all.
WikiLeaks apparently agrees as they just issued a statement regarding the purge of InfoWars, saying “The empire strikes back: Apple, Spotify, Facebook and Google/YouTube all purge InfoWars/Alex Jones.
Yes, InfoWars has frequent nonsense, but also a state power critique. Which publisher in the world with millions of subscribers is next to be wiped out for cultural transgression?”
“I don’t support Alex Jones and what InfoWars produces. He’s not a conservative. However, banning him and his outlet is wrong. It’s not just a slippery slope, it’s a dangerous cliff that these social media companies are jumping off to satisfy CNN and other liberal outlets.
This is part of a disturbing trend. In recent months top conservative congressmen have been shadow banned on Twitter. Pro-life and pro-gun posts and videos are often removed on several platforms. Liberal journalists even objected to one conservative outlet attending a meeting with Facebook. Several conservative organizations like Live Action, the NRA and even the Christian satire site Babylon Bee have complained they had posts removed or censored.
Social media sites are supposedly neutral platforms, but they are increasingly becoming opportunities for the left and major media to censor any content that they don’t like. The lack of transparency is also problematic and, as of this release, Facebook, Apple and Spotify have provided no detailed explanation for the ban.
“Conservatives are increasingly concerned that InfoWars is not the end point for those who want to ban speech. It’s just the beginning. We are rapidly approaching a point where censorship of opposing voices is the norm. That’s dangerous.”
America is a first-world country. Everything we want as humans is at our fingertips: food, entertainment, social interaction. These basic things are so easily attainable that eventually we may forget to think that they can be taken away on a whim—and it is becoming so easy to allow a person or an idea to be deleted or disappeared without any thought as to how that effects the culture as a whole or how it violates rights and can destroy lives.
It is a terrifying form of disconnect and I am beginning to believe that people are helpless to even fight to stop this infiltration of the culture.
The mainstream media who organized this attack on Alex Jones should be analyzed and given a Power Check and another investigation into what intelligence agents have infiltrated the so-called credible journalists that are in the mainstream media.
It is obvious that CNN and other liberal outlets see themselves in a partnership with the social media platforms –when they very well could be blackmailing them with unfavorable reports. Ever wonder why Zuckerberg was grilled by Congress? It was a threat to take from him what he has built if he doesn’t play ball with the intelligence operators that wish to eliminate any information that is uncomfortable or exposes them.
The mainstream media are now weaponizing news and information in order to protect and validate the expertise of the intelligence community. They appear to be receiving special privileges to instigate an information war and are generally integrating themselves into the structure of domination that has no apparent checks or balances.
There is also a bit of sick irony to all of this. According to the Freedom Forum Institute’s annual “State of the First Amendment” (SOFA) survey, it looks like a shocking number of Americans are unfamiliar with their First Amendment rights.
Of the more than 1,000 people surveyed in May and June of this year, only one person was able to name all five First Amendment rights. A whopping 40 percent, however, couldn’t name any.
Among those who could name one or a few, the right to freedom of speech was the most commonly remembered, with 56 percent of respondents being able to list it.
The other rights didn’t fare so well, however, with just 15 percent of respondents naming freedom of religion, 13 percent naming freedom of the press, 12 percent naming freedom of peaceful assembly, and a measly 2 percent naming the freedom to petition the government.
This is an example of what I have been talking about all along – with a national debate regarding whether or not free speech includes hate speech—now that they have attacked Alex Jones and Info wars no one even can say what exactly the 1st amendment covers – or even guarantees. It’s not a coincidence that the rise of populist movements worldwide is congruent with the spread of the internet: unfiltered information that asks the reader or viewer to use their own judgment, without filters or “interpreters.”
Isn’t it obvious that the globalists see this as a threat to their power grab? It is unfortunate that the people are neglecting their constitutional rights and are allowing for the purging of what they are calling uncomfortable speech.
So now I can give you my prediction as to what is going to happen next – that is if anyone cares about what happened today.
Trust in social media will now decline — it will collapse on itself as the media that has been infiltrated by the intelligence apparatus and the fourth estate is no longer trusted. Social media will fail not because of Alex Jones or what they have done to him today – it will collapse because they have knuckled under to unbridled control that has not been checked.
Nothing is protected – the First Amendment has been relegated to a misquote and a farce. The platforms of social media have now made their statement. They will not tolerate extremist voices that are similar to Alex Jones while tolerating voices that are terribly extreme on the political left and they will not limit their ability to censor and no First Amendment will be honored by social networks as a general rule.
Everyone should be concerned about what happened today as the Bradbury vision of Fahrenheit 451 has been realized and people with independent views have been put on a burn notice.
