GMOLYMPICS

MONOLOGUE WRITTEN BY CLYDE LEWIS

On the opening day of the Olympics, our guest Ryan Gable focused on a number of issues with regard to how the origin of the Olympics and the significance of the event needed to be explored on an esoteric level, and how the ritual and pageantry has a rich history in selling the world on a future world order.

In the aftermath of the opening ceremonies, it was determined the main theme of the opening ceremony during Olympics in Rio was based primarily in keeping the dialogue of sustainability alive and pushing the idea that people will in the future will have to “settle” for less and work with what less they will be given.

The entire Olympic philosophy in Brazil was to reject opulence and grandiosity in favor of simple and modest ideals. In fact, the cauldron that had the flames of Olympia was humble and had lower emissions.

The opening ceremony has been interpreted as having a hidden message for the world to prepare for a globalist ideology that has a state socialist agenda.

We have reported before, and are seeing the manifestation of the global world order take hold as there have been backroom deals made with the United Nations to enforce sustainability through programs like the “Strong Cities Network” and the Federalizing of the Police in the United States.

The United Nations and its mostly autocratic member regimes have big plans for your life, your children, your country, and your world. And those plans are not limited to the coercive “climate” agreement recently concluded in Paris.

Rio has been the center for the United Nation’s Agenda 21 Summits under the auspices of Rio+20 –and it appears that this particular outing, namely the Rio Olympics are nothing more than a feigned optimism hard sell for sustainability that will eventually be enforced by an optimistic Gestapo.

Don’t get me wrong – I love optimism but to be honest, the U.N. master plan is the “final solution” to be foisted on all of humanity — literally all of it, as the plan itself states explicitly in its manifesto: “As we embark on this collective journey, we pledge that no one will be left behind.” This quote can be found in Transforming Our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. But if you love liberty, self-government, free markets, or the U.S. Constitution, you will almost certainly be wishing that the UN would leave you behind.

Ryan Gable put it eloquently when he stated the Olympics in Rio are a macrocosm in the present that is selling you on the microcosm of the future.

The Brazilians call it Gambiarra — there really isn’t an English equivalent to translate the word, but it is similar to “working with what little you have” and in this case, it’s working through or improvising in the throes of poverty.

This is the future under this new socialism.

Another aspect of the future microcosm found in this macrocosm is how the stealth usage of a new generation of bioengineered performance-enhancing agents are being used to transform underachieving athletes into contenders for gold medals.

The idea of genetic doping is a reality and is undermining sports’ ethics and fairness. It is becoming harder and harder to detect and enforce compliance and of course the concern is legitimate, as it runs up against three difficult realities.

First, in the elite world of performance sports like track and field, cycling, power lifting and perhaps swimming, the use of performance-enhancing drugs is already so widespread as to make a mockery of the ideal of the pure, untainted athlete.

Second, in the coming age of the cyber-athlete, detection of genetic enhancement is all but impossible.

And third, the advent of genetic interventions raises ethical dilemmas for which there are no easy solutions. There is blurry line separating genetic therapy, which conference participants by and large said was acceptable, from genetic enhancement, which is universally condemned.

Today, you break a world record and the first thing someone wants from you is a blood sample, not a congratulatory high-five.

Recently, it was reported in Chemical and Engineering News that officials in Rio plan to test Olympic athletes’ tissue samples for markers of “gene doping” which basically indicates that we most certainly are living in times of future shock.

Instead of adding something extra to athlete’s bodies that can be often easily detected, as with regular doping, gene doping would alter athletes’ genetic codes so that they would simply seem to be naturally finely-tuned for competition.

Doping has long been a problem at the Olympics, and it’s an especially serious concern in 2016 after an investigation uncovered a widespread state-sponsored doping scheme among Russian athletes. So far though, every athlete ever exposed as a doper used synthetic chemicals or fortified blood transfusions to obtain an edge. No one has ever caught an athlete gene-cheating. But then again No one has ever tried.

At least officially no one has but speculations and rumors flew far and wide during the 2012 Olympics that one of the swimmers competing from China was genetically enhanced. Ye Shiwen, a 16-year-old Chinese swimmer set a new record for the female medley of 4 minutes 28 seconds. She won two gold medals, prompting some officials to question if she was doped. After an investigation it was found that she was not doped. Shiwen’s father has said that the ugly rumors about his daughter are a product of the arrogance of the west.

The rumors got worse.

Shiwen was suspected to be an H+ genetically enhanced athlete competing at the games. John Leonard, the highly-respected American director of the World Swimming Coaches Association, described the 16-year-old’s world-record-breaking as suspicious, disturbing and unbelievable.

Laboratory experiments have already shown how easy it is to genetically modify a human. In 2005, Ronald Evans, a hormone expert working at the Salk Institute of Biological Studies in La Jolla, California, was able to demonstrate how genetic modification can increase the athletic power of mice.

Evans produced a group of genetically modified mice with an increased amount of slow-twitch muscle fiber. This type of fiber is associated with strong cardiovascular muscles and boosts an athlete’s endurance.

Evans’s mice could run for an hour longer than normal mice, were resistant to weight gain no matter what they were fed on, and remained at peak fitness even when they took no exercise. A form of genetic modification is already being tested in medicine, in the form of gene therapy for diseases such as cystic fibrosis.

By the way as a side note – the Salk Institute of Biological Studies is the same place where Colorado Dark Knight Shooter James Holmes participated in the government research project known as the “Peak Soldier Performance Program.” The research center was partnered with the Defense Advance Research Projects Agency (DARPA), including Columbia University, University of California at San Francisco, University of Wisconsin at Madison, Wake Forest University, and the Mars Company (manufacturers of Milky Way and Snickers bars) to deter fatigue in combat troops through the enhanced use of epicatechina, a blood flow-increasing and blood vessel-dilating anti-oxidant flavanol found in cocoa and, particularly, in dark chocolate.

The program also included studies in brain-machine interfaces for battlefield use, including human-robotic bionics for legs, arms, and eyes, also the use of viruses to introduce GMO DNA into the human body.

Most gene modification techniques involve placing genetically modified DNA inside a virus and injecting it into human cells, and its modified DNA attaches itself to the human DNA inside those cells.

Bioengineered substances or body tweaks are chemically identical to the body’s natural hormones, making detection difficult at best.

Right now it is an unethical practice — in the future, there may be events created for highly-advanced modified athletes in the future.

Exoskeleton technology could soon allow unthinkable feats, say, swimmers running on water. Powerlifting would likely be a sport defined by super-enhancement muscle-building drugs, customized steroid treatments, bone strengtheners, and epinephrine-like shots that create short-lasting bursts of adrenaline and rage.

It’s just enough to lift a ton of deadweight above one’s head.

The sport of swimming might include webbing fingers together with skin grafts to give improved paddle-like effects. We could see sleek, no-drag, full-body suits and even aerodynamic helmets. Finally, an injectable short-term microparticle “oxygen substitute” would make races completely underwater where resistance is least. Swimming may become the first Olympic sport with no breathing.

It would be like a scene taken from the X-men movies where genetic mutants would compete against genetic mutants.

It is quite simply a move towards a transhumanist future. There is also another Olympic future that has to be addressed and that is the transgendered athlete and athletes with hypoandrogenism. Like it or not, the issue has already been considered and many believe that in the 2016 Olympics, it may be a ticking time bomb of controversy.

When Caster Semenya runs in the Olympic Games, Semenya will suffer as to she did in 2009 as she is made to the poster child for the complex issues surrounding sex verification in sport.

What is at stake here is the debate around hyperandrogenism which asks us to decide whose rights need to be protected most.

Should the human rights of intersex athletes be protected so that they are free to compete as women without being forced to take medication that suppresses their testosterone? Or should female athletes be protected so they are not disadvantaged unfairly against faster and stronger intersex competitors?

For the record, Hyperandrogenism is a medical condition which causes a person to produce high levels of hormones. There are various forms, but the one the International Association of Athletics Federations regulated was hyperandrogenism in intersex women that led to them having testosterone levels that were much higher than the average for females.

There are many that believe that Semenya will win and the fallout will be deeply unpleasant. Semenya looks very much like an 18 year old boy. Her voice is so deep that a sportswriter who conversed with the runner on the phone said “I thought I was speaking to a man”; in addition, she has masculine facial structure and very boyish mannerisms. Sex-test results came in reportedly showing that she was a hermaphrodite.

Caster Semenya is a woman and a man so the question is should she compete against other women? Should she compete with the men – or should she be disqualified because of intersex criteria and testosterone rules.

This case speaks volumes about our time, in that it reflects the attack on the concept of normalcy bias.

Caster Semanya’s elevated testosterone level is a “naturally occurring advantage” in the women’s competition. Men can’t compete in women’s sports, but women who are also men can.

Is this fair?

In conclusion, the point seems overwhelmingly likely that, whether we like it or not, many world-class athletes in the future will have “had their genes changed or enhanced” the way they now get their knees scoped — and no one will know. Intersex and transgendered competition will also be in the future.

What can or should we do about that?

Once again the idea creeps into the mind that perhaps the Olympics should be done away with, or modified in order to accommodate a more transhumanist theme.
