Stanton Friedman

Stanton Terry Friedman was a renowned American physicist and ufologist. He was born on July 29, 1934, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and passed away on May 13, 2019, at the age of 84. Friedman earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Chicago and worked as a nuclear physicist for various companies, including General Electric, Aerojet General Nucleonics, General Motors, Westinghouse, TRW Systems, and McDonnell Douglas. Friedman’s professional affiliations included the American Nuclear Society, the American Physical Society, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and AFTRA. He was also a consultant for the radon-detection industry since the 1980s. Friedman is best known for his work on the Roswell UFO incident and his advocacy for the existence of extraterrestrial life. He was a prominent figure in the field of ufology and was known for his lectures and writings on the subject.
