With social networks we are beginning to see in real time that people coalesce, form, and reform ideas in a much more powerfully focused, abrupt, and stark way than they ever have in the past. Thought forms and information are widely absorbed and believed even without any research or critical judgment.
This is also being seen in the 24 hour news cycle. Like it or not you may want to understand that the mainstream network media gets only 60 or 70 percent of their stories accurate and a growing percentage of people do not trust network media to give them the information they want or need.
The writers of history are literally the mainstream reporters and news corporations that have learned how to use the media to create and manufacture “fact” to replace faith in much of what is presented in small sound bites and manufactured information in a 24 hour news cycle.
In the ratings and money game, a 48 hour repeat of a good news story is usually standard, however with the long-form style of reporting seen on most news networks we begin to see a wide variety of “agenda” propagating where the media begins to form public opinion rather than report it. It is then where we fall into the mistake of allowing our “likes”, “dislikes”, and “feelings” to be the only standard for evaluating what is truth or what should be accepted history.
In a Pew survey about the media, it was found that fifty-six percent of those questioned regard the news reported by the media as at least somewhat trustworthy, but that includes just six percent who think it is very trustworthy. Forty-two percent don’t trust the news media, with twelve percent who believe the news it reports is not at all trustworthy.
Sometimes when we hear a story or watch it unfold on the screen sometimes the “Devil” is in the details. The news media can sometimes break away from its political drivel and agenda driven news and reports horrific stories that demonstrate that we live in a world that seems damned by some demonic power that spits out synchronicity after synchronicity – where you find yourself questioning your sanity in the midst of insanity.
We are now living in a world where all that we thought was mere science fiction is becoming reality. Stories appearing in science periodicals are all about toying with the brain and how it appears there are deeper channels within the brain that science can unlock.
When these channels are unlocked, human behavior changes dramatically and soon we start see behaviors and philosophies that we once thought are immoral become normal.
We begin to see art and literature reflect some of these attitudes. The media encourages us to figuratively sleep and let them set the agenda for what they determine the consensus believes.
Consider for the moment the widely held belief that a Satanic conspiracy exists in the world. That the fight for good and evil is not always a spiritual one but a physical battle where the blood of innocents are shed on a daily basis by those who are overcome by forces so dark that one forgets who they truly are.
Some will say that Satan has truly made a comeback with all of the so-called evil and immoral behavior in the world.
Aleister Crowley, the man they called the great “beast 666”, once commented that moralities are determined by social status and that the ordinary person abides by an ordinary morality while the elite practice a different form of it. Crowley states “Modern morality and manners suppress all natural instincts, keep people ignorant of the facts of nature and make them fighting drunk on bogey tales. Ordinary morality is only for ordinary people.”
It is most certainly the ordinary people that find themselves in situations that are far from ordinary. When the ordinary becomes extraordinary it can either be seen as enlightening or terrifying. When we look through the glass darkly we can see that the ordinary can be twisted into something that is dark and foreboding.
Every part of our history has a dark side. The world is a slaughterhouse disguised as an amusement park and there are cart wheeling clowns at every turn offering what can only be called the dark ride through and even darker history and future.
The so-called cart wheeling clowns begin to lift their disguises and we see that they are most certainly the bogeymen at the door, the serial killers, the cannibals, the violent offenders who have given us what can be called the dark histories where most of what they have done appears to be authored and orchestrated by Satan himself.
The Spike Lee movie, Summer of Sam, was released in theaters in the Summer of 1999. The movie barely skiffs the personality of David Berkowitz and his motives for gunning down innocent victims in the Summer of 1977. The movie deals with scapegoats and how paranoia can make anyone who looks, acts, and dresses differently an agent of corruption. In the Summer of 1977, New Yorkers were living a nightmare.
After twelve shootings and 5 fatalities, the world found out who Sam really was. It was a loner postal worker named David Berkowitz. Police used witness testimony and a parking ticket to get their killer. As he was being hand cuffed Berkowitz confessed, “I am Sam.”
At the time of his capture, Berkowitz told police that he was carrying out the wishes of Sam, a 6,000 year old demon who gave his instructions through his neighbors black Labrador retriever named Sam. Of course the very thoughts of any satanic influences on Berkowitz were talked about in the book “The Ultimate Evil” by Maury Terry. Terry has been investigating the Satanic conspiracies surrounding Son of Sam.
The book has been criticized as being a blown out freak out fest that has shoddy proof of a satanic conspiracy brought about by certain churches. Namely, the Process Church of the Final Judgment. Berkowitz claimed that he was just one part of an elaborate Son of Sam murder conspiracy. He also says that he did not act alone. Berkowitz claimed that he had become a soldier in an army led by Satan’s generals. He also claimed that He was heavily involved into Satanism and the occult before he began the killing spree. The idea that he did not act alone can be supported by the fact that by multiple composites of the suspects looked nothing like Berkowitz. Berkowitz says that he was involved with the murders. Just not all of them.
Later, Berkowitz made the claim that he lied about the Demons. Was he really lying? Or were the pressures of becoming a born again Christian changing his story in prison?
Then the on again off again demon story was on again. This time it was the satanic cult that held ritual and the sacrificing of animals. A ritual preparatory for the sacrificing of human beings.
While a Satanic conspiracy has been widely criticized, that doesn’t mean that with all of the blood that was spilt during that summer in 1977 some strangeness may have happened that could easily show a sick cosmic practical joker had a hold on people during that time. If you consider that the cosmic trickster is the dark entity known as Satan then the 6000-year-old demon may have possessed Berkowitz.
Then of course, there is Charles Manson. The Manson story is a modern horror story with a blood drenched messiah; one has to decide what kind of Satanic miracles did Charlie unwittingly perform.
Manson was just one of the few who obviously had synchronicity against him. In the years before the media foretold of his coming in an odd sort of way. The connections to Manson go beyond the paranormal. They are actually a poetic Apocrypha scrawled out with blood and guts in the handwriting of the media machine that dares to dance with the Devil.
Manson came on to the scene when the United States was suffering from religious paranoia. The very idea of an antichrist coming into the world was fortified in what was to become the powerful ultra right-wing.
Articles in Time Magazine asked the question “Is God Dead” and the very story of the birth of the moon child or anti-Christ was ripe for the telling in a Motion Picture and book called Rosemary’s Baby, written by Ira Levin and later made into a motion picture directed by Roman Polanski.
Manson of course was referred to as the Devil in the media and out of his own mouth. It was the very same Devil who ordered the deaths of Polanski’s wife Sharon Tate her eight-month-old unborn child, along with the others.
Although Rosemary’s Baby was released a year before the Manson Family murders, one can argue just how prophetic the movie was. How it set the stage for the arrival of a demonic influence on the world.
Rosemary’s Baby was a foreshadowing of Tate’s horrific ordeal that has become a frightening page in our dark history. The stories coincidentally deal with a woman who has ties to the glitz if the media.
Rosemary’s husband is an actor both Sharon and Rosemary are pregnant both women are subjected to the consequences of the Devil, and both Rosemary and Sharon Tate realize that they are both trapped by a cult that kills without conscience. Towards the movie’s end Rosemary realizes that her husband has made a deal with the Devil. It is then she realizes it’s too late.
Sharon Tate may have ironically found out the hard way that deals with the Devil are made every day in a world that questions if God is dead.
Polanski decided Rosemary’s Baby deserved respect to detail and began to do some things that most people claim tempted fate. The lead role of Rosemary’s husband went to John Cassavetes.
This was a bizarre coincidence when you realize that, in the film the “son” of the High Priest and Black Magician who originally is Stevan Marcatos, changes his name to Roman Castavets which is dually remarkable when you see the they are interchangeable anagrams that can be arranged to spell the sentence “Satan craves most.”
What Satan craved most was the attention that Polanski gave freely. The attention was to the detail. The movie was set in 1966 like the book. June of 1966 to be exact, 666. Using the beast’s area code wasn’t enough for Polanski. He had to hire a consultant for the movie, Anton LaVey.
Who better to consult in all things Black than the High Dark Prince of the Church of Satan? LaVey also negotiated with Polanski the part of Satan in the film.
The movie introduced quite well the possibility of the Devil’s Child being born to a world. A quiet world that was unaware of what was to come. The movie was loved by the people yet panned by the critics. Polanski was accused of being a Satanist.
After all his work was done so authentically one would be tempted to question if maybe he knew about it all from experience. After the death of his wife and unborn baby he obviously brought it all upon himself, right?
Perhaps the Devil had an account to settle. The paranoia was unbelievable. Mia Farrow the actress who played Rosemary didn’t attend the funeral of Sharon Tate fearing that perhaps she would be next. After all playing with devilish propaganda may burn you.
The film, Rosemary’s Baby, is a glaring example of a fore-structuring or predictive programming vehicle that begins the optical satanic ritual that everyone who has seen the film is familiar with.
Roman Polanski released the film in 1968. Remember the plot? It is about a man who sacrifices his wife and child to Satan in order to become famous.
Sharon Tate, Roman Polanski’s wife and her unborn child, were murdered in 1969 by self-proclaimed agent of Satan, Charles Manson.
Satanist Kenneth Anger the producer of the film, Lucifer Rising, once said about films that “Lucifer is the patron saint of movies.” Some movies that are made are invocations or evocations to cast a spell on the audience. The purpose for some films is to stir the primal forces and is used as magical weapons to stir the soul out of conformity.
The flickering image according to Anger creates a thought form and even if the image flickers for no one, it is still a causal engine that sends the image into the ether. If someone picks up on the meme and it is successfully implanted in the zeitgeist it is theorized that the very nightmare could easily transpire in the real world.
A perfect example of this happened again in 2005.
There was a horror film that didn’t remain in theaters long but remains another example of a movie that fore-structures a very gruesome tale in our dark history. The film was called “Dark Water.” The film was a remake of an earlier Japanese film of the same name, based on a short story by Koji Suzuki.
In that film, a mother and daughter move into a rundown apartment building, which is soon revealed to be haunted.
A dysfunctional elevator and dark discolored water gushing from the building’s faucets eventually lead them to the building’s rooftop water tank, where they discover the body of a young girl who had been reported missing from the building several years earlier.
In the original Japanese film a young Japanese woman climbs on top of the water tank, and falls in while trying to retrieve her purse that she accidentally dropped inside.
In February of 2013, a case of dark synchronicity took place when the body of Elisa Lam 21-year-old Chinese Canadian student at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, was recovered from a water tank atop the Cecil Hotel in downtown Los Angeles .
She disappeared January 31st, 2013 under very mysterious circumstances.
The L.A. County Coroner ruled the death “accidental due to drowning” and reported to the media that no traces of drugs or alcohol were found in her body during the autopsy. This would go down as a routine drowning if it weren’t for elevator surveillance tape that recorded Elisa’s behavior only a few moments before she lost her life.
In the four minute video that went viral on You Tube, Elisa is seen pressing all of the elevator buttons and waiting for it to move. It begins to get creepy when the elevator doors do not close. Elisa seems like a curious child, and then begins to act peculiar.
The fact that the elevator does not close is eerily frustrated for those that view the video. Elisa reacts by looking around, as if she is expecting someone to get in with her—there is also a moment where she looks like she is trying to hide from someone; however no one appears to be with her.
Then we see that her arms and hands start moving as she appears to be talking to someone, but there is no one seen or there is no one there. She then walks away. The elevator door then shuts and appears to start working. The camera shows that the elevator is empty and that it goes to every floor and stops.
Right after the events of the video, Elisa apparently gained access to the rooftop of the hotel, climbed to its water tank and, somehow, ended up drowning in it. The question how the young girl got through the locked door to the roof without tripping the alarm before climbing into the tank and drowning?
The media reported that her body was found two weeks after her death. The water tank she fell in was the tank that supplied drinking water to the guests of the Cecil Hotel.
The guests complained about the water’s taste and color. A guest interviewed for the local news stated that the water was “black” of “dark” when it first came out of the faucet – and then it became clear, the water was said to have a very sweet taste to it.
The Cecil Hotel has a very dark history. It is located in an area known as the skid row district of Los Angeles. It is also notorious for numerous suicides and murders, as well as lodging famous serial killers.
Richard Ramirez, known as the satanic and murderous “Night Stalker”, was living at the Cecil Hotel in 1985, on the 14th floor. He was charged 14 dollars a night. In a building filled with transients, he remained unnoticed as he stalked and killed his 13 female victims. He was actually dumping his bloody clothes in the dumpster, at the end of his evening and returned through the back entrance.
Jack Unterweger, was a journalist covering crime in Los Angeles for an Austrian magazine in 1991. “Jack” Unterweger was an Austrian serial killer who was convicted of murdering prostitutes in several countries. He was released from prison in 1990 as an example of rehabilitation. He started killing again. He also lived at the Cecil Hotel during his second killing spree– he eventually committed suicide – he was diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder in 1994.
Elizabeth Short, known as The Black Dahlia, is alleged in at least one book to have hung out at the Cecil and drank at the bar next door before she disappeared in 1947; however she was seen at the Baltimore hotel before she went missing.
Now – before we go any further, the 2005 movie, Dark Water focused on two main characters—a woman named Dahlia and her daughter Cecilia.
The ending of the movie is also eerily relevant: The apartment buildings elevator malfunctions and the ghost of Cecilia’s mother braids her hair.
Shortly after the discovery of Elisa Lam’s body, a deadly outbreak of tuberculosis occurred in Skid Row, near Cecil Hotel. The test kit that was used on the homeless by health officials to detect TB was called LAM-ELISA.

Now the Elisa Lam mystery has inspired a new horror movie project titled, “The Bringing.”
The deal for “The Bringing” is for a spec script written by Brandon Murphy and Phillip Murphy. It will follow the man investigating the woman’s mysterious demise, and the unthinkable horror he stumbles into while trying to figure out what happened.
The film will most definitely be a fictional account of a non-fictional event in our dark history. It could very well be another tale in dark history’s mysteries where the devil is hidden in the dark waters and details of an unsolved horror story.
